Kajol constantly being portrayed as a damsel in distress is sooo damn annoying. Also I feel its a big insult to the acting skills of Ishita, becoz she is a fabulous actress and she looks fabulous too without even trying too hard.
Also in this show the constant idiotic remarks abt Kajols appearance is making me sick in my stomach...........this whole Kajol ko na akal hai na shakal is very annoying. I really wanna know what kind of message they want to give out with this bullshit 😡😡
Underline: this is with reference to skin tone I believe. I remember in the initial episodes when Kajol was meeting the Chatterjees for the first time Naina was eager to put loads of make up on her so that they wouldn’t see Kajol’s real complexion plus would appear more glamorous than she is
Same old prejudiced beauty standards of fair skin pink cheeks doe eyes plus being glammed up always, Kajol is none of these (and oh, this is what makes her so attractive, the fact that she neither fits these standards nor feels too bothered by the same). This confidence in her character is great, hope the cvs highlight it more rather than as a background aspect of her personality
