Aparna toh kuch naa hi bole toh accha hai. 😡 This woman is acting like she didn’t emotionally abuse Imlie in the same house for months. 👏 Tab jo Adi lade jaa raha tha Imlie ke liye, woh suddenly bhool gayi hai yeh, waah.

Does she think Adi isn’t trying to make amends with Imlie? Itna one-sided pressurize kya karna? Try talking to Imlie once, maybe make them sit and communicate with each other face-to-face… Remember all the efforts these same T’s made trying to save Adi-MC’s marriage?! They sent them on a surprise date, planned a whole damn honeymoon even. Ab toh sirf routine bhaashan chalath hai, aur kuch nahi.

Aparna thinks giving token guilt-tripping lines to Adi and shutting MC up from time to time without tossing her out of the house with her mother will work. 😕 I would have still digested PT taking a strong stand and saying all this to Adi in place of his wife. PT has always been the most genuine senior T in Imlie’s corner, so at least it would be a lot more believable and a lot less hypocritical.

Tension mat le - like i have said before, it has to reach the bottom and get the worst before it can get any better.

When the truth had to come out before Malini, the entire set of episodes were the worst where there seemed no light, before we got the truth reveal to Malini and mitti romance.

Before the truth reveal to the family, we had the Dev reveal and ink incident before all hell broke loose.

For Imlie's acceptance by the T family, the entire Janmashtami & court kand had to happen, so that Aparna and the elders could do her grahpravesh

For Imlie to finally leave so that Adi and her see things beyond Malini and deal with her baggage, we got everything that happened before the MS burning.

For Imlie to finally understand that both Adi and her are incomplete without each other, we have DD & ASR planning to separate them and Adi givinge her divorce papers.

So my advice - yeh aane wale episodes ko itna dil pe mat lena - I caught a glimpse of the episode and it just made me feel - it is right now very good they are getting divorced - Imlie needs to see that Adi was not just her husband but her true partner in life, while Adi needs to understand that guilt driven decisions never work in the long term. With other people in their lives driving a decision they needed to make for themselves by communicating with each other tells me that their current rishta is now very kachcha - it needs the cement of separation to make it so strong, that no winds - Udharwala or Versatility can shale their foundation again.

Something I told a friend about imlie:

She doubted the fabric of their relationship. Her vishwas has become a mere word . She needs this divorce more than adi. After divorce she might lean on asr and r family for support in pain

But somewhere in her pity party ( sorry I am angry with her but I still love her) she will realise how empty Her life is . How hollow her victories are. How meaningless the journey cos it is without adi

The other side even if Didi pf I don’t think adi can break anymore . To him Didi is non important. He might breakdown over how he was betrayed but the man will not go after imlie I feel cos to him this decision is what imlie wants. Pakka Didi or asr did something that made adi think imlie wants divorce. Now imlie will have to fight for them

AdI might become stone hearted or emotionless like he was before imlie. He was a Stone Mountain before imlie and he will become one again. The question is will atif show all this. Vaisai gm says he is drained emotionally. Makes me wonder how st been doing this since day one

I agree completely - I also feel that Adi has been shown that Imlie feels this relationship is a bandhan that is holding from truly being azaad - his words show how he is doing this so that she can truly be free and follow her dreams. Adi is willing to deal with any crap, but if he has been made to feel that he is an impediment to Imlie's dreams - that is something the guy will not tolerate. People think ASR is being a mentor to her and bolstering her confidence in her abilities forget how Adi never allowed her to forget the importance of her studies or her dream - even when Imlie was willing to let go. So yeah, I truly feel this divorce from Adi will be on 2 grounds - either he will be made to feel that he is in the way of her truly progressing further, or else made to feel that Imlie thinks this zabardasti ki shaddi is holding her back due to him. So we will get a sacrificial Adi who will do all this so that Imlie will fly - just she will not understand this until much later.

As for how they will come out of this - I am very sure that both these 2 will be like shells - living their life, but hollow inside. They will be manipulated, shown a completely different picture from reality and truly made miserable - but it will be because the other is not there to share their sorrows and victories as well.

GM being drained emotionally is because he is a very meticulous actor who really pours himself into a role, while ST has the innate ability to showcase her craft brilliantly but switch off at the end of the day. For her this is work - something she does brilliantly, but the toll is more physical that emotional. While GM literally pours himself into the character to make it more relevant and easier to connect with the audience, ST is able to showcase her best, while still being able to be detached from the psychological effects of such a characterization.

ST and GM remind me a lot of SRK and Kajol in real life. SRK used to always say that Kajol would joke around and just look like she is fooling around, but when the director calls for action and the take is executed, se does it flawlessly - so much that it is difficult to connect the 2 people. ST is also a lot like that, which is why she is able to do emotional tracks without getting exhausted (except complain about the swollen eyes due to crying so much).

As for what will happen after the divorce - firstly I am still thinking that the divorce will not go through - even if they both sign it, something tells me that Adi will not file it (I am going for the most filmy way possible). Secondly, these 2 really need that time out to think their relationship and the value of what they shared, before either of them mature enough to work things out. It will be a long and hard journey, but honestly looks like the real angst that we were missing will actually realize only now.

Sigh It’s gonna be tough and draining for all but I am hoping binge watching gives me a better appreciation cos this daily exhaustion kinda kills it to me

Let me add.. aryan words ( according to WU) made imlie happy but have u realises even when she came second in her exam and the family made a fuss.. she was happy but she didn’t feel complete and validated until adI congratulated her… even now she craves it so desperately that she is overcompensating j feel with accepting asr praise as if ir means something. It’s actually khokla.. she doesn’t want praise as much as she needs it from adi. He is everything but maybe she has taken him and his love for granted in that she doesn’t expect him to give up but to come around

She believed adi like her dada would never leave her so maybe she was riding on that faith that he would come around.
