Compared to the more dignified look and poses for the Mehendi, KD is in his element with the Haldi costume... He just looks happier in these pics to me, and perhaps that's why?

Also, what do guys even do at mehendi functions? Alice didn't even get mehendi done on her hands did she? So he couldn't have had fun teasing her or something... 😆
