Very sad and angry to hear about the pontharani case. All reputed schools has this unsafe environment .. why they fear only about the bad name for their school ?? Is human emotions that valueless before business and money... why the school did not take any action on the teacher on the first instance of complaint .

They need only money... atleast they could have taken action against that person without leaking.. how come they left him.. it's very sad to hear this kind of news in different intervals. But it is not stopping...

I been busy. I’m doing ok. Hope you are doing well. The cases have increased in the last two weeks here. We have more than 90% vaccination rate in my province yet the cases are increasing. It’s also due to the cold season as it’s winter here. Also, mostly ppl are back to office and kids are in schools. The 5-11 age group kids are being vaccinated. Almost 41% of kids have received first dose in my province. Also, we have few confirmed cases of the new variant. Overall the vaccination is effective in controlling hospitalization and severity of the illness. In Canada, booster shots are being offered currently for elderly ppl, ppl who have compromised immune and pregnant women. In January, it will be offered for 60 plus age group in my province. Also, the booster shot can be taken only after 6 months from our last dose. I don’t think I will get the booster shot when they open for younger age group. Unless Omicron becomes so dangerous or they make it mandatory. Pfizer claims that the booster shot will be effective against Omicron and the two doses alone may not be as effective. The situation in South Africa seems to be in control suggesting the severity of Omicron may not lead to high demand of oxygen and severity in illness. However, it’s still too early to know the effects. I can’t believe we have to deal with this another year.
