Akshara - the hero and victim of the day

Two bits of the episode really struck me today.

Manjiri singing - it’s shocking that members of her family who are in their early thirties have never heard her sing or at least not in such a public forum. How sad especially to see the look of irritation on Harsh’a face and jealously on Mahima’s face. It is clear that Anand like the others only feels happiness but Mahima has clearly had a big role is suppressing Manjiri and feeding Harsh’s insecurity with having a wife who doesn’t work. How wonderfully Akshu brought out the one thing that would make Manjiri sing and gave her the courage to do it. All while putting herself at risk of further ridicule and pain. I hope Manjiri remembers this and stands up for Akshu when it really counts.

Akshu crying to Neil- it’s funny how everyone was thinking about Abhi today. Everyone wanted to bring the smile back on his face and who better to do that than Akshu. Neil pushing her to take the place of the nurse shows what everyone does to her. Pushing her guilting her and using her love and emotions to make her put herself at risk or out there. Her cry to him asking him why did you make me do it is what she should be asking everyone in her life. Arohi, Kairav, Manish…. and even Abhi. Why do you all push me to suit your pace your desires. What about me?

I hope that day comes when she will question everyone for their deeds.

Exactly sometime I go through this this women has faced a lot but still think about others when the day comes she stop thinking about others that will be best day best akshu she can be

+1 for the second part. I really don't like this Abhi's birthday track because it's all just pushing, coaxing, convincing her to do for someone else's happiness. Why no one thinks about her? Why no one takes a stand for her or put her first?

I like the track because it takes the story forward but I need to see the story give Akshus a break - she needs someone on her side fighting for her thinking about her. Maybe Vansh will wake up and do that.

Nah! I don't think so. It would be Abhi only at the end of the day as he is supposed to be her Knight in Shining Armor who will give her everything, the others didn't however even Abhi didn't think about her or her feelings when he got her to his home
