Honestly speaking Mithai was at fault too.. Oi 1ta kotha ache na - 1 haathe taali baajena.. This is so applicable in this case.. Mithai too instigate Tess time to time even though she knows her nature.. Sid was furious with Mithai coz he has zero expectations from Tess.. He knows Tess is absolutely shameless.. But he didn't expect this from Mithai specially when he had repeatedly warned Mithai to stay clear of Tess..

Sid n others were at fault too.. Leaving Mithai alone in the kitchen with Tess was absolutely wrong...

And Mithai's fault is her over confidence.. Max time she lands in trouble when she doesn't listen to Sid n acts like she's "Ekai 100" .. Same thing happened in PCG party.. Sid had repeatedly asked her to go with someone but she didn't listen n landed in trouble n Sid had to rescue her.. Even during Makhan Mondal case Ratul n Rajib n all the workers had warned her but she had her own logic n didn't listen to any warning n ended up being arrested n was sent to jail.. Inspite of all these she keeps repeating her mistakes..

Sid ei jonno eto furious chhilo with Mithai coz she's never serious... And this gives others (read - Tess) opportunity to put her down...

Bichar sobha boshbe ekhon. Whyyy? I guess hypocrisy runs in the Modak blood. Sid is not some dhowa tulsi pata here. Constantly keeps calling Tess as boudimoni when he knows she will only get hysterical listening to that word. And now he has the audacity to shout at Mithai??

How can dadai do bichar? How can Nanda be a spokesperson of the whole ghotona? Both are biased towards Mithai. In the birthday party, dadai was in cahoots with the holla party in sending Tess to the doctor so she can't cause further trouble. This resha reshi is not news to the elders. They are aware of the situation, dadai and pipi have at times contributed to it. Nanda from day one hates Tess (with good reason). She overreacts even if she talks to rajib normally. When terrace theke gamla fela incident happened, she sided with Mithai even though potentially Tess could have been seriously injured. How can she be a fair spokesperson in this matter without taking sides?

And most importantly, how did the drunk incident bring shame to dadai's name? The party was not held by dadai. The employees don't identify mithai as dadai's bari r bou. For them, she is Sid's wife. Jodi karur naam kharap hoyeche, it is Sid only. Why does he need to take dadai's name's excuse even in every matter? What does he hope to achieve by shaming mithai in front of the elders? How is that a solution?

I understand why Sid is angry. He has plenty of reasons to be. Mithai's behavior has been instigative for some time now. She keeps poking Tess for her own fun. Like, provocatively waving her kiss wala hand in front of Tess. Challenging Sid to call her boudi in the party when Tess had already warned before. It has become a form of entertainment for her. So she deserves a scolding. But that extreme shouting at the top of his lungs was too much I felt. And I especially hated when he started talking about dadai er somman. After so much has happened, he still needs the excuse of dadai to make a point to mithai.

The only good thing in all this was Somoresh calling out Sid's hypocrisy. He keeps on harping about his father's misbehavior with his mother, but doesn't think twice before behaving rudely with Mithai. Someone needed to show him the mirror 👏

Nobody is a "dhoa tulsipata" in this case and Sid honestly overreacted today. Yes, he had reason to be angry but not to this extent.

If he was so concerned about Mithai's well-being and how she would react then why did he not confront Tess in the kitchen itself? Ok let us assume he did not want to create a scene, then could he not have waited in the kitchen itself till Mithai finished her work? Especially when he noticed that Tess was already hovering about?

Mithai needed to be taken down a peg or two - that's for sure - and her antics were definitely becoming an eyesore, but then the question also begs to be asked - in what other ways could she have defended herself? Clearly behaving maturely with Tess has never worked - Sid himself has tried and ultimately resorted to namecalling tactics. The other option is avoidance - to stay mute and not react to whatever she says as Mithai had done in the pre-divorce stage...kintu tateo babu r appoti. Tale sheye khetre ki kora uchit? 😳

Also if he knows that Mithai could not have done this alone then why is he so keen on bringing it up in front of the elders? What else can they possibly say or do that he himself has not said or done? 🤔

I am not saying Sid's reaction is unjustified - but there are a lot of things that he himself could have done differently

Mithai has been behaving out of character too... she suddenly seems to have lost all her self-respect - almost feels like I watching some other serial

@bold - I don't know why but I feel like this Bichar Shobha is setting up the stage for something bigger like property divide or Som + Tyas leaving Monohara or something like that.

I think the makers are looking towards a K3G type of story and are giving hints for the same

This may not happen immediately but I think with the revelation of Som's parentage something like this may happen - and Mithai will be directly or indirectly connected in that revelation somehow

Story seems to be moving forward again though 👍🏼

@Bold - Exactly... Sid n everyone else knew something might happen if Mithai n Tess are left alone with each other n yet everyone left.. That room scene was so dramatic n totally stupid 🙄 Okies I understand this whole "drunk n chase" scene was created for a purpose that we will see in the upcoming episodes.. But the execution was so below standard that it became eyesore 😞

@Red - Mithai has been behaving ott since Sid's birthday.. Specially after the hand-kiss scene...
