So is he seriously hugging his friend and doing EMO talks while also trying to get him to surrender?! The scenes of Sada-Virat seem a little ridiculous (for lack of better word) to me. Utterly filler types. And are they really having a bonfire party getting nostalgic and eating ber?! They also have no chemistry thus far as friends that Sunny-Virat have. I am also unimpressed by the new dude so far. I know people take some time to sink their teeth into a part so will cut him some slack.
I understand they want to show the whole friendship thing and a "conflict" of Virat the friend vs Virat the policeman but the whole premise seems very shallow. They haven't even given us a name for this cause. They just talk in some abstract terms. I'd have preferred that they showed the bonding only through flashbacks and focused on the police vs criminal alone now. Like all these college memories could have been shown through FB's that Virat and Sada have as soon as they see each other and then cut to present they should be shown holding back on the urge to hug an old friend because now they do NOT see eye to eye. But here we get a scene of them in hand to hand combat and suddenly Sada is preventing him from falling and they are hugging.
I know that DIG said that the point of the mission is NOT to get offensive and to get the guy to surrender so Virat is perhaps trying to sweet talk him and get through to him without any force etc. But it looks really out of place and unreal to see ACP virat hugging and catching up with a guy who is a criminal. I mean they are not 5 year olds that Virat will say- Ok man surrender and Sada will say ya dude. Ok now lets both get Vada-Pav and chai.
And did he really leave his phone and go away?! Ye kaisa policewaala hai?! They could have rather shown the number be unreachable because he is a remote place than show ACP leave his phone and go.
Sai missing Virat is sweet but I think her dialogues should have been MUCH better written in those bits. They were really blah.
The only information we get is confirmation of what we already knew post KD- that Shruti is Sada's pregnant wife AND believes in the same cause and endorses his means/methods. So if Virat takes responsibility of her and does not arrest her too it'll be utterly illogical. He KNOWS that Shruti is also technically a criminal but if she doesn't get punished just because she is "pregnant" and because he gets emotional and thinks the wife/kid of his friend is HIS zimmedari- it will be SO stupid. And Virat is SO desperate to give vaadas and take zimmedari's that voh khud seh hi promise karta hai even if the other person doesn't ask for it. Virat himself is like- I promise I wont let anything happen to your family etc etc. Arey bhai, the man didnt even ask for it yet. You yourself have volunteered even before anything happens. So obviously when he dies/fakes death it'll be easy to manipulate Virat the vaada boy. Great. And obviously at that point vaada trumps logic and farz. Pregnant comrade wife of criminal will be protected and cared for by Virat himself.
The part of the episode where Virat is missing Sai, wanting to share everything with her but not being able to do so because he is bound by the confidentiality of the mission and his fears and dilemma's are legit and well performed. But the scenes with Sada seemed very poorly etched out that I cant really connect with this track.
And the highlight is the last few mins where PP attempts to taunt Sai and Sai's comeback to PP. Waah. Kya bolti band ki hai. Ayesha really shines in these kind of scenes. Her body language is SO fantastic.
Precap is same.
