As for the second point, nicr😆

It's not that weird to think that John did the dirty on Bips and similarly Ranbir on Kat. Men have an advantage over women cuz they have no age limit and "society" is much easier on them in terms of marriage/kids. So when they date a girl in their 20's and dump them in their 30's after a long term relationship, the girl loses a lot more in terms of her biological clock and dating pool .... whereas those men don't lose much cuz they can just dust off their shoulders and have women in their 20's like Alia, Priya, etc. clamoring to date them all over again. So.... while those men might not have intentionally set out to inflict that kind of loss/pain on those women, they still get the flak ... and I don't feel sorry for them by any stretch of imagination.

I have no qualms in men getting the flak.. i have qualms with women being considered sad and furly sply because of a breakup.. I mean just because dumped or their relationship didn't work out doesn't mean their life is filled with sadness and the moment there's talk About her wedding , everyone's like oh she finally gets her much deserved happiness I am sorry but how exactly do people deduce that a woman wasn't happy simply because her relationship didn't work out and how does her much deserved happiness automatically equate to her wedding? That's the mindset I can't work my head around

Some people are just genuinely happy for her too ... cuz someone mentioned here that Kat wanted marriage/family and the whole deal.

It couldn't have been easy for her to deal with all the media buzz around Ranbir/Alia after her relationship with Ranbir fell through ... cuz Ranbir-Kat marriage was on the cards too at one point. But then again, there must be plenty of Deepika fans who think Katrina got her just desserts.😆

The obvious power play and Kat sucking up to Alia in the coffee show made me feel sorry for her too. There is no way in hell she would have been cordial with the likes of Alia if she had any leverage there. With the media buzz around Kat-Vicky wedding, some people think she finally found her long overdue fairytale wedding with a decent dude.

But speaking in general, I find the whole notion of equating marriage to happiness ridiculous too.

Travel ban on South Africa is pretty harsh. They discovered a variant which might have originated somewhere else. The variant is so quickly found everywhere. I'm pretty sure developing countries will be afraid to report any new variant considering how harsh measures they could face.
