Mimi. I really enjoyed the film, the performances were good and so was the music. I wasn't a huge fan of how it was executed in the end though.
Sardar Udham - amazing movie!
Meenaxi Sundarareshwar - soooo bad
Doctor (Tamil movie) - enjoyed it!
Chehre - The way it started off was so interesting/mysterious/chilling. I was watching it at night and was legitimately creeped out. It was set up so nicely with such an intriguing premise and atmosphere until it spiraled into complete shit once the “flashback” scenes were introduced. From then on it was sooo slow, boring and ridiculous. Oh and the lengthy monologue by Amitabh towards the end was soo unnecessary and random.
Dybbuk - Turned it off in 40 minutes.
Mimi - Didn’t like it much. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t amazing. The white actors were so cringe in some parts. Why can’t Bollywood ever find decent white actors? Kriti was great.
So far from the movies I’ve seen released in 2021, I loved Haseen Dilruba despite what critics had to say. To describe this movie in one word I’d say: deliciousss!!!
I really liked Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar and Paglaitt too. Oh and the short story with Konkona and ARH in Ajeeb Dastaans!!! :)
Ginny Weds Sunny...I have only seen half yet and I liked it. Yami is better than Alia in her Dulhania movies
