@bold,I have been wanting to discuss that particular shot for I think it deserved a separate post altogether. It was so haunting and mystifying at the same time. As you have already mentioned that, what caught me was the stark contrast between the ideologies, that burning rose and the dice board depicting that Mustajab can burn everything in his ishq /mohabbat while he believes it is no wrong to win his object of affection with 'planning' whereas Dua says that everything happens only by God's will, depicting that even if Mustajab wins her it is only by God's will.
Also, I do not know why we are not talking much about the last shot of Feroze's teaser, the walk with blood stains all over him, it was bone chilling, such a cold moment I swear, I am dreading that shot, I fear to see that honestly. The man is just too good onscreen, if the teaser is like this, I wonder the performance in the show.
Yes, the OST is sung by Shani Arshad, Asim and Feroze had a banter in Instagram which made fans think it was Asim but it is not him..LOL
@red,It is actually interesting because we come across people like Mustajab and Dua almost every day in our lives. The ones who operate on logic to the point of scepticism believing that every individual is in control of their actions and the ones who believe that every incident that occurs is preordained. And,objectively speaking,neither of the two sides are wrong per say. However,in this drama,it is most definitely Mustajab who will end up getting impacted by Dua's thought process and end up evolving as an individual.
You said it all aptly. The nature of the ending does not matter as long as it is satisfying and reasonable. Both Khaani and Gul E Rana concluded on a bittersweet note but the ending made sense and both Hadi and Adeel got what they deserved. I think I can tolerate a sad ending or even if he does not win the girl, if that is actually deserving, Like I was alright with Khaani's ending, the ending was how it should have been, but with both Ishqiya and KAM3, the tragedies with both Hamza and Farhad, how fair was it? Hamza's love for Rumi was not a lie, he came clean, he tried to redeem himself, never abused her, nor did he harm her, the punishment was bigger than his mistake, and Farhad, well let me not even start, if I would have a genie, I would beg to erase Farhad's memory so that he could forget Mahi and go for a happier future, the death was so cruel. I disliked Mahi till the end, the worst job of a writer was done when the female lead died of heart break and I still disliked her. WOW..
Coming back to Mustajab, I am quite sure, he has a back story and a huge motive to do what he will do, he believes in planning and he is torn from inside given his monologue in the teaser, also I could see signs of vengeance in him, if anything he is doing with the dice board and the burning rose, then it is gamble due to vengeance and not in mohabbat.
Hamza's ending,in plain words,was hypocritical. I would have been okay with Rumi leaving him had Hamna,too,suffered the same fate for if Hamza had to be held accountable for his actions then so should have Hamna. What annoyed me about Ishqiya's ending was that Hamna got a happily ever after despite being equally guilty as Hamza if not more while the latter's life was destroyed completely.
What happened to Feedi was too cruel and unnecessary. He did not even commit any offence and was punished severely nevertheless. I will always be of the opinion that a better ending for Farhad would have been to get over Mahi,return to his family and friends and live happily.
As far as Mustajab is concerned then I hope whatever he gets at the end is in accordance with his entire journey. The vengeance part is what intrigued me too. My guess is that maybe his well concoted plan to obtain Dua's heart will somehhow fail due to which he will become further determined to win,not only her,but also over her.
Look at the brighter side. Atleast the dust is made up of gold 😭😆
