What have samrat done..

Recently there was only few discussions on Samrat and most of us including me found his character more better than virat upto hospital track...then we saw manhandling by him...soon he apologized...he is in a way desperate for pakhi....within few months...

Here virat waited for months for sai's love and is waiting for her consent...I knew he went overboard before sai's accident...But if virat and Samrat's roles are reversed..i.e Sai was married to Samrat will Samrat would be more desperate than virat

Another thought that struck was the way he admired sairat when virat was going for duty....it given a vibe the qualities he wanted to see in didi are present in sai and the way he looked at pakhi's direction when sairat hugged...a sorrow was present..

I am not entirely sure if Samrat would have behaved the way he is doing with Pakhi if he was married to Sai. If you think about it, these two situations are a lot different. Virat got married to Sai expecting a loveless and deal-like marriage. So, when he fell in love with her, he understood that it was something which was not in the normal course of their relationship. This is why he is waiting for Sai to fall in love with him, because for him this is not something which must or should happen but rather that it would be so much better if it does happen.

However, for Samrat it is completely different. While Virat never even dreamt about having a normal and happy marriage with Sai when he decided to marry her, Samrat had set up his own dreams and expectations from Pakhi and from their relationship. When the truth got out, he felt betrayed and he distant himself from everyone. During that time he didn’t allow himself to think about anything. He controlled his mind and decided to live in his temporary and sort of imaginary happy world. During that time, there was a part of him that still longed for someone's, not Pakhi's but anyone's love. He continued to restrict that part of himself so that he doesn't get weak but that suppression only strengthened the longing. So, now that he is once again given the chance of reviving his relationship, those chained feelings are coming bursting out. He knows and understands that all these are lies and deception but he has supressed his feelings for so long that now he seems to have no control over them. His mind doesn't want to go back to the state of loneliness so it is believing every lie and ignoring all the obvious truths and thereby, coming out as desperate.

Samrat was a good character with whom people sympathized (even more than Sai) and connected till he was MIA. When he was found in orphanage in Mahabaleshwar, he was seen as a coward who could not handle a 2-day marriage and left everything, his job, mother, everything, for it... Level one character butchering.

After he came to CN, he was straightforward, practical, looked like reading through the person, questioned Patralekha but came into Patralekha's sweet talks and got manipulated each time. More butchering of the character. Patralekha is so open about her intentions towards the marry and Virat but he chose to be a clown, literally blind in love. Now, he seems just desperate and creepy where he doesn't know anything about his wife, just wants to be physical by all SR talks. I don't know if he lacks patience or is just testing waters but Sam-pakhi scenes are cringe.

He would have been a good husband, would have loved his wife, if she was not as insane as Pakhi. Maybe saw MB suffering from young age alone, after she came back to CN, that's why he seems to forgive Patru everytime.

But lately, his character seems to be going down the drain, maybe to accommodate and show the PL as victim.

I feel sorry for him

He seems to be besotted by this lady and also he know leaving her would mean more problems in his brother's life.. Samrat can see through her intentions that onece she is set free that will pave a easy entry in Virat's life...Also he wants to keep the family sweet.. Samrat is a much better husband but he should start building a emotional bonding between like virat with Sai..

Samrat is better husband than virat imao. Virat sai marriage is different from samrat pakhi marriage. Virat had to wait for sai consent because he himself asked for it by putting deal proposal. Where samrat pakhi had arranged marriage. Samrat talking about first night sounds creepy but he is not wrong. Pakhi herself says she wants to take this relationship ahead, that's why samrat making moves. Samrat had been so patient with pakhi. Despite knowing his wife loves his brother,they both cheated on him he still forgave them. If it was virat he would have never done it. The moment he heard the phone call conversation he would ousted pakhi at that night itself by claiming my hurt,my dukh. Virat can't bear sai talking to her male friends and character assasinated her. But samrat forgave and respected virat pakhi relationship when they said we are just friends. Samrat>>>>>>> virat. Atleast he keeps his wife in priority list and won't cross limits with other's wives.

Samrat is thinking in a different plane now. Patralekha is convincing him that she wants to start their marriage afresh. So in a way, she is giving him a thin rope to hang on to and she is eyeing his brother on the sidelines. Samrat is bound to be frustrated as Patralekha's words don't match her actions..
