Maybe you are right about the AnJol wedding happening on Diwali

I was thinking the same thing becoz Kajol has always been called the Laxmi of her house.

And on Diwali the Laxmi of the Mukherjee house will enter the Basu house as their Laxmi to light up their house and family...its a possibility.

Yes she did but Sharmilla knows that Anjol is meant to be and she will go against Dida to support Anjol.
