Test matches have 4 innings so each team bats twice and bowls twice alternately

The team total is what they score over the two batting innings

And there is no fixed amount of overs, just a determined timeframe. That's why to make the most of their innings, the batsmen take it slow and try to stay on for as long as possible while getting the runs. No risky shots like T20s.

From 196 for 1 to 296 all out, wow Axar🥳 congrats to him for 5 for. Ashwin also got 3 wickets. Good job indian bowlers

Jadeja also was very good, he and Ashwin both gave 10 maiden overs 👏

In his test debut itself he took 5 wickets. In 3 test matches so far in 2021 he has taken 27 wickets. He became the first player in over 100 years to pick up 5 five-wicket hauls in seven innings or less.

Yes maidens were needed to build pressure n thats what happened. Superb comeback by bowlers

i don't follow test matches much isliye😆

but i did like his bowling in ipl since the time he used to play for punjab though now he plays for delhi

So can the game even finish before 5 days? And what if everyone is still not out after 5 days?

Well if teams get all out quickly it can even be finished in 2 days 🤣

Jokes aside, 4 day tests used to be pretty common but now 5 days have become the standard. It's too exhausting for the players otherwise 😅

@b: that's why the designated time is there na. Once time ends, innings is over regardless of wickets remaining. Just like normal T20 you know. Baaki formats have fixed overs, test has fixed time.
