What I dont gety is Judges start singing with the contestant. especially SM 😕😔 There is contestant as a main singer, than we have other contestants as chorus, than judge jumps in to sing. what is that really they are judging the contestant on? I am confused.

It is not a show to judge contestants - it is a show to make money and boosting TRP is the main aim.

It is so sad that a show once known for its devotion to quality music only has been reduced to such inane frivolity.
I watched last night's episode on Zee 5 and then watched the Shravan Rathod Episode from Il12 (I am collecting some info from Idol12 and am watching all episodes when time permits) .
Even though the IL show was shot in Daman on a stage without any glamour, it was a show where music was the dominant attraction and far far more watchable than the Zee show. And I used to blame Idol for excesses!

The episode is mainly duets with one solo from Neelanjana.
You are, perhaps, better off listening again to AK18 and Sayli's duets and the other duets sung on E51 (Sony Liv) 🤣

I think dipayan is very good in his style, I like him so far
