I live in MH.If a teacher here asks me to memorise something hard in marathi then i can take my own time but cant reply back that will u say few lines in tamil bcuz i on my own decision have come to live here so will have to learn their language

Same applies to her she chose to come to tamil BB.Learn thirukural,take ur own time but u cant tell the other person that whether u can speak telugu because it is TN.

She was asked to do 50 sit-ups for singing song. But there were others also who were singing . Why no punishments for them ??

When others were given time to get ready why Akshara was assigned a task of saying 5 kurals ?

If she has refused to memorize thirukural and asked Raju about Telugu lines I can agree with your point of view. But she did not refuse to do it , she only explained the practical difficulty she has . She felt she could do it better if she writes it down , what is wrong in that . Like how u said u can take ur own time to learn some thing in Marathi like that she can choose her convenient way to memorize the thirukural. That’s what she was saying and I completely agree and support her on that . She was giving due respect to learn the language but prefers to do it in her convenient way .

I feel there is a lot of exaggeration about Akshara’s dialogue on saying 2 lines in Telugu. What she meant was everyone has their own phase in learning a language. She is fluent in Tamil even though it’s not her mother tongue, but it’s hard to have expectations on her to memorise 5 kurals taught to her verbally and then give the meaning of those sayings. She wasn’t even saying she won’t do it -she just asked for some help and time in learning. As a sarcastic line she told Raju “You tell me 2 lines in Telugu later after this task is over”. She was just trying to point out the practice difficulties in learning something you don’t know before. And not even now after the task is over. For some reason this got picked up on social media as though Akshara asked Raju to teach her in Telugu.

I don’t agree with the way Akshara later exhibited her anger but I also feel a lot of what she says gets misunderstood.
