Should the elder sister be the one who needs to carry all burden?

Hello everyone,

I am here with one of my many other rants.

Akshara is the middle child and elder daughter of the Goenka's. She is the elder sister to aarohi who is younger to her by a year. Does that mean Akshara should be responsible and aarohi can be however she wants to. That too when both of them have almost same age. Because no matter how much I think I couldn't figure what where the Goenka's doing with Akshara.

Why no one ever try to understand her needs?

Why no one ever understood her smiles are only fake?

Why Aarohi is given so much attention and not akshu?

Why no one asked her once how she was feeling after these fiasco?

Why can no one see that she is hurt?

Why they think it's ok to take her for granted?

I know this is how the writers designed her Character but still these are the basic things a family need to do right but why weren't they done. Does being an elder sister mean you have to carry all the burdern with you and get deprived of basic needs.

Actually here its not who is the elder sister

Its whether she is even considered as a sister

I know right if I see it in that way. Neither is akshu considered as the elder daughter of the family or sister to aarohi.

In ITV FL always sacrifices everything for her family😉

So here FL is only Akshu. Arohi ko to aise hi lead bna diya 😆

I almost forgot she is elder sister. So Arohi should call her di. Not akshu. Di is more respectful.

That's so true. If she was living specimen I would have done aarthi and pooja every day and night

I don't think it's about who is older or whatever. If anything, we can see them as the same age.

I feel like Akshara is taking all the burden and trying to make Aarohi happy because Female Lead Syndrome (FLS). I mean, Naira was strong and stubborn from the very start but most FLs take time to come out of their cocoon of goodness and exhibit their fierceness.

The real barrier between their relationship is Aarohi's inferiority complex. And for that, I blame the Goenka clan because they shouldn't have compared Naira and Sirat in the first place. For a little girl, that is too much to take. And so Aarohi has this feeling that she will always be second to Akshu. She is sort of a grey character now. I hope she doesn't turn full-on vamp.

No they don't have to do it.. Akshu is portrayed as typical ITV FL.. Aarohi doesn't even consider her as sister
