I think she was more into reminiscing how the relationship started and what it became eventually. We can never truly know the reality of the person and that is the thought that ptobably hit her while looking at those pictures. As for not filing a case against Abhay and running away, it is more like her knowing that she would be fighting a losing game. Abhay is powerful financially and seems like he is influential too so obviously the stakes would be too high for Koel; that being Nikhil. At that point in time, she had no one to rely on it seems and as shown currently; like it or not, tha academy has let her down too despite knowing her plight. So i guess Koel understands her situation and in such a case, she found running away to be the better option considering her and her child's safety.

Mai bhi thi 2 times, ek baar camping mein jb karan ne Monu ko sunaya or ek baar jb diwali wale interview mein kaha ki Monu is going to confess, mujhe laga heartbreak hoga but nahi 😂

I actually thought that it's cauz of pain , I didn't see love but I think I'll re-watch the episode and come back and comment.😊
