This was so heart breaking to read. The new show is not ready yet so why did SP pull off our show. We could have gotten 3 month extension and could have closed Pallavi's past also. Anyway it was getting good numbers. I still don't know what went wrong for the show to be off-air

Truth be told, I'm really torn about this. No offense to anyone who likes her shows, kyunki maine khud saare ke saare Gul shows dekhe hain ITV mein and I did like some bits and pieces from many of them. My issue is, her shows are almost always about an angry, young MCP jo FL ko doormat ki tarah treat karta hain, while FL just stands there looking pretty and taking all the BS with baalti bhar bhar aansoon. Her FLs are mostly naïve and exist only to entertain the MLs. Her leads rarely get a proper character development, she never gives a proper redemption IMO and I don't know if I want SaiShi to play such characters jin se woh khud bhi connect nahi kar sakte. I think Shivangi said somewhere that she wanted to play characters who do more than just cry.
On the plus side though, Gul never shies away from showing romance. Of course you won't have the type of romance we see in our show. Hers have 1237813648 eye locks, trip-fall-catch, dupatta flying and getting stuck, confession happening a thousand years later but romance bhar bhar ke dekh sakte ho. Good story? Erm debatable😆
Yaar I'm so desperate to have these two on my screen together, main toh shayad dekh bhi lungi but I can't analyze the show or the characters. What to do😒

Heartbreaking indeed. Poor guy keeps mourning over this but ITV is beyond my understanding at this point Sharada. A part of me thinks it's SP but I also think SS being done with the fan bullying might have something to do with it too. 5.30 wasn't even a competitive slot, come on.

Yeah 5:30pm wasn't competitive slot. Also the creative's might have wanted to explore other tracks like Pallavi's past - if it is SP who got in the kachra tracks like Esha then I really hope SP understands where it went wrong. I think even Sickand was not interested in MHRW because his story was done. Plus he had other shows in the pipeline so he wanted to move on.
I really hope we get some good news of Saishi in a new project soon.
