In fact that incomplete hug after coming out of the safe house was the best scene (I felt it so) in terms of expressions and execution as well.
The awkwardness of both Sai and Virat were nailed by the actors. It sort of gave an ample hint of what was about to come.

The FL Spandana, bangs her head to Vikrant. Then some little boy prompts her to head-butt once again. She tries and results in a very awkward position, that too right in front of her father.

Sai is a touchy human who likes to show her rights on her people, only that she should be secure of her position in their life.

Yes this dosti phase has indeed helped her to clear those insecurities about virat pakhi and now she is sure that Virat has nothing to do with Pakhi and this was kinda build up for realisation, this has to be cleared before realisation for which dosti track was introduced❤️
