I was born and brought up in Mumbai..My mother was a tamilian. In fact a fourth gen Mumbaikar, she also spoke Marathi fluently, so much that people mistook her to be one. My father is a bihari from Delhi. So that made me a polyglot. Marathi was my second language anyway.

I can speak Hindi, English, Marathi fluently, tamil, telugu a bit (not fluent). It amuses me when the cast from Ghum speaks (or tries to) speak Marathi. Exceptions are Kaku, Ninad, Ashwini Aai, Sonali Kaku, Omkar Kaka, Mohit. These people are maharastrians anyway. Even our ACP, courtsey his stay in Mumbai, has got the dialect right. But Sai..Shivani Bua, even PP...facepalm to their dialect.

Bechara donkey...even that animal is capable of kicking if you chhedo his ass (female donkey: dont get me otherwise) All that our ACP can say is Baasss...even the stray dog in my colony refuses to be cowed down by that. Ooper se bheed se pit gaya...poore police force ki beizzati kara di...

Must be difficult for non-marathi people from the cast to get the dialect...

ACP can say things to people but the condition is they should not be PP
