There was another Bukhari writer : Samra Bukhari who used to write for Geo.. I wonder where she is now!😕

I wish HUM would promote dramas better.. they are getting better ratings than before so it's such a good chance to do that

I didn't really find this episode at all interesting, the only reason I am watching this is ismat Zaidi who is playing Ifrahs dadi in show. But who signs such a drama and character after dramas like Fitoor, tanaa banaa or parizaad. Luckily she doesn't look a very important character in the drama, and I may only watch her scenes if there are in further episodes, but i hope that's not the case bcz in next teaser they have introduced the hero and the cousin who likes him a lot

Drama is okayish with three families

-One with a daughter, Neeli, who has aspirations that get shunned by her father. (Bored of seeing Waseem sir in similar roles just like it was in Mere Apne). Though I liked the daughter rebelling against her father who wants to force marriage.

-Iqra's character has witty sarcasm wale nuances with her step-grandma. Definitely, there are nuances to her character. Her rishta with the guy is nice. Guy doesn't care who her parents are but just cares for her primarily. Though Iqra is oblivious to her birth-related truth, he remains adamant onto getting hitched to her. (I'm happy there is no cousins getting married for once in a pakistani drama & how the children chose to wed on their will).

-The Dadi is irritating & the step-father is showing his true colors by not investing in her wedding. Even Sahil's dad is hellbent on not getting wedding by trapping his son to go abroad. But, I guess this will form the crux of the story.

Let's see.

1. Neeli and her 1800s ka father: Neeli is a modern girl who dances but her father(Waseem Abbas) has mindset of 1800s who thinks beti is a bojh. Luckily, neither Neeli nor her sister are any sort of becharis and I loved her dialogues

In the second episode, the bit where she plans to install the cable to ignite the fire, I dunno sorta found it funny but it just feels repetitive for some reason with regards to Waseem sir's role of that cynical & frugal father. Let's see.

Is it because of health reasons or because his role demands this type of look?
