IPS officer in a town/city

I have a serious doubt.

Usually IPS officers in a town or small city are well known. Nagpur is fairly large city so may be there will 3-4 IPS officers each commanding huge chunk of the city. So why is Virat not so famous? Because my place is also fairly large if not a metro and my dad atleast knows the IPS officer taking charge in our area..and they will be given special ops treatment too.

CVs made Virat dumb at home and unimportant in the city too! not fair. And he has fought terrorists already. So give some stature to the guy 😒

I have my half family in defence and some in the same post too. Feels insult when they talk about him as an IPS and always at home,attending all festivals,functions and kitchen drama🤓

In the beginning, they showed him to be quite famous... In Aniket's track, there was a news in the newspaper cut-out used as a wrap for Samosa, about Virat being the first IPS to be posted in GC...after that they dumbed him down and also his fame...

He also had another piece of fame....of being the youngest IPS officer

But now, he is 36 years old ...

I remember when Virat is meeting Sai's college Dean, Aniket and friends are overawed that Sai's husband is famous IPS officer Virat Chavan....I always crack up at that line 😆

Yes it struck me yesterday.. when virat went to the mall .. he went through normal checking .. and the security people did not know him .. considering he has been posted in Nagpur .. second the shop keeper called him just virat .. most people in retail outlets are aware and give respect to the police force … they should have finished work in 1 hour fast .. as police guys are always served first .. no shopkeeper wants a police guy to loiter in his outlet .. for more than extra time .

Virat is a humble police officer is what we are forced to understand.😳

Also which police officer India goes to buy dry fruits and clothes .. isn’t it a polite way to keep the resident officer sweet during Diwali .. the Chavan niwas would have been flooded by gifts for virat n Sai during Diwali

They should add such scenes .. which triggers off pakhi b Sonali .. when all the local business send gifts during Diwali for ACP Virat Chavan and his wife .. Karishma gushing over it .. virat refusing some expensive gifts .. but taking the simple sweets n stuffs
