What would have been SaiRat's reaction had they...? Epi- 24/11

Disclaimer: Now, I have missed a few episodes here and there so I am basically writing this with probably insufficient information, so feel free to fill in the blanks...

So I watched today's episode and I was shocked at Ashwini's statement in ZA scene where she said that she agrees with BK's "ghar ka chirag" demand and I was honestly left flabbergasted.

Has Ashwini conveniently forgotten that Sai is a 19-year-old, college-going young woman who has dreams and aspirations; especially now that she, herself has chocolates and roses in her own relationship?

Has she forgotten the times when she used to tell Sai how she had to leave her dreams of pursuing higher education because she got married to the Chavan household?

Has she forgotten and has intentionally become oblivious to the fact that Virat and Sai are still far away from seeing their relationship as that of a husband and wife? More precisely Sai in this case.

Does she now want Sai to have a child, forget about her and her Aaba's dreams and just become a housewife and a mother?

Point being, wth is Ashwini thinking saying that statement. Was she trying to pacify Bk and this was her tactic? because if indeed this was her tactic, it was a very lame one indeed.

Was this the reason behind Ninad sending sairat back to the room so that they could inform BK that they are the same team?

If this is so, I find Ashwini to be a total hypocrite and a 2 headed snake... I really hope I am wrong in thinking this way, hence posting here to get a better perspective

How do you guys think that Sai and even for that matter Virat, would have reacted, had they heard what Ninan and especially Ashwini had said to BK regarding the "ghar ka chirag"?

I think it was a lame tactic to get things done the way they wanted. Using kaku's own card against her

I have honestly stopped liking Ashwini for a LONG time now. She is not a mother to Sai as she claims…she is just Virat’s mother at the end of the day, actually not a good mother to even Virat!

I find her to be a big hypocrite🤪

I honestly would have believed this if she hadn't indirectly told SaiRat to start physical relations in one of the earlier episodes... This was so wrong... This is not her prerogative. It's only a couple who decides this "when" and not the mother-in-law... 😡

She has honestly crossed a lot of boundaries lately... starting from indirectly insinuating Sairat to start physical relations... she is totally in for kaku's chirag wala demand... so much interest in her son and DIL's intimate life. Disgusting 🤢

In that conversation bk tells Ashwini that Virat is now 36 and if SaiRat don’t be together and after 5-6 if Sai left him what will they do when girls will not get ready to marry virat because of his age and all blah blah..And she thinks if Chirag comes then SaiRat can not leave differently.

They all are thinking about Virat’s life not about Sai’s.

At this point, I'd rather have sairat go separate ways especially because the 19 and 36 age gap doesn't sit well with me in any way. While I don't deny that BK's reasons are valid, but in no way it should mean that a girl's dream needs to get crushed and her aspirations cold murdered just because she got married to a guy way older than her and that too when the marriage wasn't even her choice in the first place.
