Regressive to the core

First of all it is a negative post so if you are fed up with already negative filled episodes then please ignore it.

I still can't believe a show can romanticize devar bhabi angle to the extent that too where the bhabi is self obsessed. How come no one took offend & made the show shut. It's such a insult to sacred bhabi devar relationship. They can show bhabi obsessing over devar for triangle sake but they legit romancised it by playing show bgm for her. Just because they are getting trp they will show anything nonsense. Virat is the worst ml of itv currently. Other ml's are toxic to a extent but they are not like virat. Here virat is abusive, borderline two timer( can't believe I am saying this but can't help after the lifting scene followed by other scenes). Female leads of other shows got new male leads instead of ending up with two timer partners. But here makers love to whitewash a two timer by giving him names like bolu ram through fl (sai don't know half of the interactions of pakhi virat where pakhi expressed her intentions to virat so I won't blame her character here). But the way makers trying to whitewash him by giving whitewashing dialogues to other characters for him is pity. Now a days I feel disgusted seeing ml character. Until anniversary I was okay watching him because I understood his emotions. But after anniversary his character just going down & down. Felt like slapping him when he utters words like zimmedari, samajdar, dost. I wish some magic happens & they make virat pakhi couple which leads to sai leading solo life. Till now I was okay with regressive stuff being shown because it is kd copy paste so felt like makers choosing easy way for trp. But now it is different. All regressive stuff they are showing is their own creativity. From chirag nonsense to devar bhabhi cringe. Friendship track was really good but then chirag cringe happened. Manifesting for virakhi end game as they both truly deserve each other. Don't know If I ever be able to connect to sairat again.

New ML for FL in other shows are there probably only for some time. Mostly to bring a twist to the story. But the endgame is only the initial couple. Anupamaa is a bit different as the story is different.

The show has always been a love triangle. Woh alag baat hai ki shitty writers love didi so much. I think not only didi. They also love devar bhabhi love story. The way Kaku talked about NinAsh suhaag raat, it looked like she was jealous like hell. Or is it a channel thing to show devaar bhabhi, saali jiju thing. 🤢

Majority people signed up for SaiRat not Sai or Virat separately. If not they can show Sai focusing on her studies and Virat on his career. Why is it always necessary to show that the girl needs to find a man to be happy ?

My point is how other fl's got parallel leads who knows their worth whether it is for short or long time but they atleast got. Pakhi only had a few fans and Samrakhi just started since 2 or 3 months. That's what I said people like SaiRat from the starting. During the first 6 months eceryone was SaiRat shippers even Sai fans and Virat fans. The entire fandom was in one team. Now some hate Sai, some hate Virat and broke that unity.

Same as I said for Sai, why should Virakhi end together ? Why can't he live alone. He was much happier without Pakhi and Sai. He was a hero back then. Virat is clear that he doesn't love Pakhi.

I agree with both your posts, Muguet. However, from a drama or TV show point of view, solo journeys may or may not get TRPs at all. After a point, it is a business and why would any production house risk cutting their existing golden goose which is currently Sairat at the moment. Even though reduced, there is still hoopla around the couple. I am sure they might have gotten feedback during their mall visit. If they want to show Sairat going separate ways, they would do so when the show is about to end. Patralekha might get married to someone else but at this very moment, Patralekha and Virat getting together are out of the question. This very minute.

The third angle plot has been stretched so thin, one can't even see it with a microscope. 🤔Instead of plugging the plot holes in the original and making it better, Ghum made it worse. One, obviously by unnecessarily adding cringy Virat Pakhi scenes. And two, by Pakhi's atrocious characterization. Pakhi should have been someone who guards her intentions, is extremely sly - someone who is sweetly deceptive.This would have given credence to why Virat misjudges her intentions. And please, a dignified Pakhi. 🥱

Here, she has been re-written supposedly as an emotional fool 🤪. She openly spews venom against Sai, instigates family against her, was known to have been involved in Ajinkya kaand, makes overt protestations of her "love" for Virat - how is it humanly possible for Virat to not understand her intentions?

And now they have upped the sleaze factor - it feels like one is watching Ekta Kapoor shows of old. 😆

All shows are regressive.. All heroes are made to look like a dumb.. I have seen worse scenario..Scince serials are majorly made for females especially aunties so mostly heroes are only there as eye Kandy...

Prime attraction of Ghum is Sai.. Only her character is written well.. She is consistent till now.. She is like a breath in the fresh air..

Now I can understand your frustration.. Off late Virat's dumbness is to another level..He is swinging between two woman and he call both of them his friends.. That line truly truly ruins the charm of actual couple.. On top of that he knows that his marriage is on the rock because of his so called friendship with Bhabi.. But still he is willing to risk his marriage at the cosy of his friendship and expects his wife to understand their gesture.. Earlier ViraKhi scenes used to look little bit meaningful as it was going bring SaiRat closer.. But now I only cringe.. 🤢

I partly agree with you about Sai's solo journey... In fact Virat too.. Virat seriously needs schooling.. That can be only done if he parted away from Sai.. Also I am interested to watch how Sai bai manages everything being all alone.. Her another struggle. ..

New hero or and heroin only Can be brought if audience are bored with present Jodi and only to spice up their love story.. However it depends on TRP

People ship original cast and characters. New FL or ML work very rarely. Every other day I see bring new ML. Show hi kyun dekhte hai long ? For example I don't like one character, I stop watching. Dekhna bhi hai phir complain bhi karna hai about the actors or character. 🤣

haa. Even I see on Twitter, people are like get a new male lead. I trust this production house. Get a new lead - either they will make him sooooo bad, that people will forgive Virat or make him soooo good that he will be the one who will eventually unite Sairat.

Solo journey... what will they show? Sai's struggle in becoming a doctor and then being successful one at it or Virat catching criminals and progressing in his career. After 2 months, everyone will get bored.
