Hi guys, this is my first Os, it’s a very long one shot so sorry if it gets boring after a while but this is my take on how I would write the story after today’s episode
The Aftermath
It’s been 12 hours since everything has changed, all three lives were in chaotic mess. Abhi left distraught feeling embarrassed that he had assumed Akshara had the same feelings for him. His intuition was wrong but he wasn’t, he loved her and was willing to fight the world for her. But she didn’t reciprocate. He lost faith in love once again and he regretted ever falling in love, those emotions were never written for him.
Akshara was heartbroken, one one hand her sister who she loved a lot and other other hand the guy she liked very much, but her sister was above everything. Despite everything she couldn’t speak up for Abhi but she was very remorseful. She was hearing all the taunts after they had left but kept silent and then she run away from there, locking herself up.
Arohi was devastated, Akshara took Sirat from her and now the guy she was in love with her loved her. She was feeling all sorts of emotions, angry, upset, agitated. She wanted to kill Akshara and regretted that she let her stay in the house. To her Akshara was her biggest enemy. She went to her room and start throwing things everywhere but then eventually stopped and went to sleep.
It was a long day for everyone, both families were exhausted, no one knew what was coming next, how they would get out of this situation. Everything was overwhelming, right now they needed to rest. Whatever was going to happen will happen, eventually…

Abhimanyu woke up at 3am, rethinking all the situations, all the emotions he had felt, where did he go wrong? How did such a big misunderstanding take place that’s virtually ruined his life. If the misunderstanding didn’t happen then even if Akshara had no feelings for him, they could’ve got married as friends and then his love for her would win her over. He still couldn’t recall any actions of him making arohi feel that he has feelings for her.
He decided he had to get fresh air and go on a long drive, he woke up got his keys and headed to his car.
All the events were playing in his head and he hadn’t noticed that a truck was coming and boom the car went flying. He was mid air and his life flashed in front of his eyes, he quickly unbuckled his seatbelt and unlocked the door. He landed in the sea. Due to hitting his head on the rock he fell unconscious.
Akshara woke up having a nightmare of abhimanyu dying, she felt very uneasy, she didn’t do know what to do, whether to contact him or not. Mentally, she was all over the place. She’s about to trip when Kairav comes and holds her.
He tries to find out what’s wrong and what she’s feeling but she gets a panic attack. She’s breathing very loudly but she gets flashbacks when Abhi had hummed for her and she starts humming. After she calms down she falls asleep on Kairavs lap.

Abhimanyu wakes up, he doesn’t know where he is, he’s lying in a hospital but it wasn’t his hospital, and he wasn’t treating anyone, he was being treated.
3 hours ago a couple of people were walking in the beach when they saw abhimanyu lying unconscious. They quickly called the ambulance and then he was taken away for treatment.
Abhimanyu calls for the nurse and says where am I? What happened? Then he remembers everything that’s happened and how he got hit by a truck.
The nurse replies, calm down you need rest and you’re in Goa hospital.
Abhimanyu wonders how did he reach all the way to Goa, did his body float all the way here? Nevertheless he gets up and decides to take the train back home, but he gets stopped by the nurse asking him to rest for a couple of hours more until his medicines are prescribed.

Akshara wakes up and is restless, she’s worried about abhimanyu. She wants to contact abhimanyu but how? What would she say? She felt ashamed that she couldn’t say anything but she was genuinely worried. She wanted him to be okay.
Abhimanyu on the other hand after a lot of thinking decides he won’t return back to that city that’s given him so much pain. In the hospital he decides that he will start his new life in this new city.
He was going to work in this very city at the very same hospital he was in right now. New people and new surroundings might help him. One thing was for sure, Akshara was the last person he was going to love. No one has and no one ever will make him feel like Akshara does.

4 months have passed since this event, Birlas tried to look for Abhimanyu but Abhimanyu had emailed his resignation letter to the Birlas and said he was going to start a new life. Abhimanyu was always in touch with Manjiri, and supplying her with everything she needs apart from, himself…
Goenka family had moved on with their lives, Arohi still wanted to be the best and have the best but she could never find abhimanyu again so she decided she was going to focus on being the best doctor in the country. Her relation with Akshara had worsened. She didn’t even look at her or even speak to her. She despised her existence.
Akshara on the other hand, tried her best to talk to Arohi but she failed, she couldn’t get her to speak a word. She also hoped that Abhimanyu was doing well but when she had heard that he left the city she felt like she was at fault too.
It happened as from the group chat from the trip was still active so she called Neil and asked if Abhimanyu was okay a week after the incident. But he told her she was gone resigning from his post. On asking his whereabouts Neil said he doesn’t know what he’s doing or where he is.
She had lost two people unintentionally, for her arohi she was a living corpse and for abhimanyu, well, she didn’t know where he was, how we was, but she missed him.
Eventually, she started to work in an NGO to keep her mind distracted. But deep down she knew everything was a mess and she had no idea if it would ever be fixed.
Kairav had found out Aksharas feelings from the letters but on confronting Akshara he found out Abhimanyu was no longer in the city. He felt saddened that three lives were in agony and he was helpless.

It’s been 6 months now, Abhimanyu had saved up a lot of money and already had savings from before. He decided he was going to open up a NGO and so he did.
The name of the NGO was Akshara NGO and he decided he would make sure that everyone who didn’t have a family would have a place there, get educated, get free health care and get a good upbringing.
Today was the inauguration and journalists had reached there to ask questions. The first question was why the sudden opening of an NGO Dr Abhimanyu? He answered, I would like to give shelter to people that don’t have homes. What’s the reason behind the name of the NGO? It’s in the loving memory of a girl that I loved very much and still do, no she’s not dead but circumstances didn’t let us to be together in this world. What’s her full name Dr Abhimanyu? That’s very personal and I wouldn’t like to disclose that, she has a family, a good reputation and who knows she’s probably married by now. He ends off with no more questions please.
After inaugurating the NGO, he leaves from there happily to get some sleep because he had a long day in the hospital and the interview had made him emotional.
Over in the Goenka house Kairav turns the TV on and is shocked to see Abhimanyu. He calls everyone and they watch Abhimanyus interview. Akshara is in tears but she’s happy that he’s still alive and healthy. Luckily Arohi was in the hospital so she wasn’t aware of what’s happening in the house.
Akshara falls on her knees, Dadi comes there and picks her up and hugs her. She asks her what’s wrong my child, whatever it is, please say the truth today. Akshara cries uncontrollably and then after a while she wipes her tears.
She narrates her story, and how she started to like Abhimanyu very much and she was very happy too but when she found out Arohi loves him too she sacrificed herself for Arohis sake, but over the months her longing for Abhimanyu has increased and she loves him too.
She asks dadi why does he love me so much, am I worthy of it? I had kept quiet when he was getting embarrassed so why this much love? Do I deserve it? I’ve never felt this type of love in my life.
Dadi calms her down and says love has no boundaries, neither does it have any conditions. Even after so many months he still loves you the same if not even more. Go and tell him you love him, a lot of time has been wasted. Reunite with him and reunite him with his family.
Dadi orders Kairav to book a flight for Akshara to Goa, he obliges. They all have a family hug. Whatever Arohi was going to say was going to happen after. Right now two lovers had to be reunited.

Abhimanyu is in the NGO when he hears Piya Tose Naina Laage Re, in that exact voice. He runs outside and he sees Akshara. He’s absolutely bemused, he pinches himself but no, it’s not a dream she’s here.
He walks up to Akshara and asks how comes you’re here? Akshara starts sobbing and says I’m sorry, I was stuck in between two people so I couldn’t say anything that day. Abhimanyu tries to talk but she stops him and say no not today. I’ve mustered the courage to say everything today so please don’t interrupt.
I was attracted to you from the trip too and started to like you from then too and when I found out the rishta was for Arohi I was devastated but decided to stay happy for my sister and then when I found she loves you too I sacrificed my feelings. But the truth is I love you and I’ve realised it after staying so many months away from you, your confession, you standing up against everyone for me, our moments in the trip, I got used to all of it. All I know is I love you, I need you, I want you. I know Arohi will be upset but for now all I can think about is us. I promise I’ll be the best possible partner if you give me another chance.
Overwhelmed Abhimanyu hugs Akshara so tightly after her confession and starts sobbing and says I love you too Akshu. He sobs hard and says I had lost hope I thought you would’ve moved on by now but I was wrong. Thank you for coming. He shows her around the NGO and they talk about all the things that happened throughout these months.
They had a lot to catch-up, so many things needed to be fixed but for now they knew as long as they had each other, things would be okay, whatever it was they had to face the would do it together. This was the start of a new beginning in their beautiful story.
