Looking at the "professionalism" of the team, they may well ruin the eventual confession also with BD.

Many of Sai birthday scenes had BD which definitely affected the quality of the scenes.

So i hope either it's fake news or they have a solid plan for a track in case ML is gonna be gone for a good chunk of time.

I dont know about the writers. But I saw this on twitter. We can see Neil clearly internalizes Virat, otherwise those subtle loving expressions he csnnot bring anywhere and everywhere. He is consitent with those. I think Neil is definitely a good actor and professional one too. It is the writers who are mixing stuff...my opinion
