Arunita actually performed 10 times including the Vedanta private gig.

I came across this interesting video put up by someone called Subodh Rawat on his experience with the Idol show at Wembley.
He has many clips from the evening in his YT channel but one was of particular interest to me.
It is a compilation of comments from others who were at that show.
Basically, the crowd for such shows are very mixed. There are those who only like performers and there are those who prefer melody. Both camps seem numerous.
So while someone is swooning over Aru, someone else feels that she did not hold his/her attention.

I am not linking the video here because it is not Arunita specific.
But the point I wanted to make is that a singer like Arunita is best suited to do solo or melody shows - where the ticket buyers come with an expectation of her kind of music.

In shows like the current tour there is a mix of different types of songs and singers and no way to switch channels when your kind is not being dished out. This is especially important in a long event and idols coming in at the back end have a harder task to hold the audience's attention.

This is a difficult song to get it right, and the singer needs to have a good command over a wide range.
