I was thinking about what if Sai hadnt walked in and unfortunately I feel like pp would have manipulated him into sleeping on the bed while he took the couch. Because Virat supposedly looked around to see if anyone else was awake before asking PP to share her distress with him so if he said go sleep with bk/mb she would have said- oh I don't wanna wake them etc etc so he'd given in. Because he is being shown as THAT DUMB. And if Sai hadnt walked in and they had shared a room even if not a bed, Virat would literally be OVER in my eyes. So I'm glad this "what if" didnt play out. Its not about sharing a bed/room, because if the intentions are right and there isnt an uncomfortable history it'd be ok.
I myself recall in college days during trips with friends or when I first moved abroad, having to rarely bunk in dorms or single rooms of guy friends- sharing a bed, sharing a room or sharing a dorm with more than 1 person. But i doubt i would be able to do that if I had a "past" or any uncomfortable history with any of them.
If Sai hadnt walked in, I highly doubt Virat would have done something as simple as wake up bk or MB to help pp out. He would have given in to pp, based on the way his character has been shown.
If roles were reversed and Sai acted this dense, would he accept it. If Sai tomm was in a situation where she needed to share a room with a guy friend like Ajinkya or Aniket would he be cool?
When bk in the episode says - no more hanging out with boys, naach/gaana- Virat said Nothing! He didnt say Sai is in college and she can hang out with everyone
Its like he forgets he has a brain that he can use. Its not like any of these situations were so dire. In the lifting scene, the idea Sai had to bring wheelchair is something Virat as ACP could have had. He could have allowed another onlooker to support pp along with him instead of doing it singlehandedly...these instincts, common sense were completely lacking. Its like he needed to not only do it himself but also forget his conmon sense. I didn't understand the point of that scene where the motorist comes forward good naturedly to help and Virat warns him to stay away as if he is "possessive". I didn't understand the expressions or the need for that scene.
And in the while lifting scene no matter how much pain pp pretended to be in, he could have waited, ask her to take a deep breath, put her weight on uninjured leg and move to the side of the road.
Also he cannot still be calling her as "friend"🙈🤢. When talking to Sai he could have simply said- ya she just wasnt moving and she was on the center of the road so I had to lift her. He really didnt need to say - woh "dost" hai. Agar example dena hi tha to say - oh you're my wife n i lifted you and in pp's case I took pp's permission and she is not a stranger, she is my "VAHINI" . But nahi. Virat is obsessed with calling pp as HIS dost. If everything he did with pp, giving up his "love" is all for jeeva then why is pp's relationship to him based on his equation n not by jeeva. If there was another girl in place of pp as jeeva's wife - would he not call her vahini.
basically he gets manipulated or gives in easily and that too with pp. And this virat that the makers are showing is coming acrosd as utterly RIDICULOUS.
They really need to stop this shoddy writing.
This level of ludicrousness is utterly stupid.
If they wanted to show pp plotting to be close to virat but failing why not show her try super hard to convince him to lift her but FAIL because Virat finds an alternate solution. Why not show him have some smartness and question pp as to how her sprain recovered so fast that she showed up in his room that quickly n pp struggling to make excuses then.
