Roka announcement happened one day before 100 episodes. You can check fans reactions over virat pakhi scenes by checking old posts till 99 episodes in IF by going back to initial episode pages. There was a scene where virat applies ice on pakhi hand which made whole fandom so furious. This is when fans don't know about real life equations. Not everyone will feel same about offscreen equations. But pakhi virat scenes will definitely get hate for all obvious reasons whatever the offscreen equations must be.

And antics of ph & actors makes it hard to not held them accountable. Even today there was a trio segment but interview was taken with only real couple ignoring fl. How would fans supposed to feel? Even before roka aishwarya got hate because she used to defame sai character in segments & called pakhi dignified woman. U can check all those posts in IF itself if u want. Infact now people actually stopped reacting to real couple interviews for show, parallel lead badmouthing lead characters or fans. Did you saw anyone making a issue why fl interview not taken and only real couple interview taken when the scenes was about trio for today segment. You won't find any because people are fed up with it. They got used to it so they stopped ranting about such actors & ph who can't keep reel & real separate. Ghum fans always been so patience with offscreen dynamics. They don't get leads bytes, promotions from ml, leads segments ( got very few), gets real couple segments for show more than lead couple,gets real couple in centre stage in show celebrations & pics. Still they maintained sanity(majority) & try to concentrate on only onscreen. But onscreen what we got. Virakhi having parallel scenes with sairat that too creative one's which are not in original. Pakhi bashing from original gets cut but new scenes of virat pakhi was added so how should fans feel about this?

How everytime fans get blamed despite them tolerating so much because of someone's personal equation.

Third wheel (romantic) scenes with ML are not welcomed in any show. People cringe seeing them. Third wheels, especially the evil ones are hated for their kaands and what they do to their loved FLs. Here Pakhi is not just a third wheel but also the bhabhi of ML. These type of lifting scenes surely wouldn't be welcomed by audience between bhabhi and dewar, on top of that, playing the bgm... It's uncomfortable to watch, morally incorrect, that a wife is using fear of her own husband's life to spend time with devar.

It's also uncomfortable to watch when lead pair has certain social distance but Devar-bhabhi have none because it would be difficult for a new viewer to differentiate between the wife and the third wheel. It's happened alot in this show, where I have seen non-viewers asking who is the wife and who is the bhabhi. This is improving after Sai's accident track but they are under radar of majority of audience, since they have ruined many frames and scenes and viewing experience by these social distancing problems. Mainly by this and more no. of Vir--------khi scenes, people think that the offscreen bond is affecting the onscreen, when the third wheel doesn't know how to act and is an eyesore.

Offscreen too plays role to a certain extent when you see the PL interviewing with the ML for lead pair scenes, where PL has no business and PL has no idea of what is happening in the show and character arches.

I agree vth all your points. It was a remake. And already people were watched in bengali, tamil and telugu. So obviously people vl compare with original version. In other languages there is no this cheapness and disgusting scenes b/n virat and pakhi characters.

Roopkotha is a classy manipulator

Satya is a vamp type but vikram is too stern and he never had this much cheap scenes.

And compare to emon, sai and saranya in ghum they abusive sai more.the toxicity here also more.

At sai birthday pakhi was nt apologized for her rudeness. But in otherlanguages it happened.

At sai character assassination track no one scolded pakhi. Where as other roopkotha grilled by tublu and ronos mother.

At sai accident track they minimized pakhi bezzaiti.

But in KD bhanu, emon friends and anonyo everyone shows roopkotha her place.

So audiences got concluded based all the above points might be the real life relation effected onscreen characters.
