Yes,Monu has zero sense of self preservation. Usually people do try to gauge if the other person likes you.

Karan has always used "trainer" ,"duty" word with her and nothing else but phir she hasnt experienced anything like this before toh woh bhavana main beh rahi hai..

I hope she does have heartbreak but without confessing to him. He feels guilty so he is indulging her requests now.He may be attracted to her but even that doesnt help her case.Sid probably sees that and that's why thinks that Karan is also in love with her.
