First episode was surprisingly very good

I liked most of the characters

But must say Gohar Rasheed stole the show .....he was so good in the scenes with Madiha....and there was chemistry also.....and given his previous looks......which I found intolerable......now a days he looks good onscreen as well.....first in lapaata he killed it and now here ......I m so happy here he has a full fledged role and it's not typical psycho as it appears in promos

Madiha's character Maya instantly appealed to me. She hails from a well to do family and has been visibly pampered to a great extent. However she does not act like an obnoxious brat or a snob(Yes I am looking at you Miraal from Sabaat). She behaves in a fairly decent manner with her peers and her demeanour exudes confidence. While she doesn't hesitate before speaking her mind,she does so in a frank manner without a condescending tone. Be it the scene in which she talks back to Momin in class or clarifies to Gohar that his romantic feelings are not reciprocated.

I was not prepared to like Gohar but I ended up doing so which came as a pleasant surprise to me. Both his onscreen look and character were impressive. Gohar is head over heels in love with Maya since they were kids and doesn't shy away from expressing his feelings. And he isn't one of your typical Roadside Romeos with an ego too fragile to handle a girl's rejection. At the same time,he doesn't have any delusions about her for he knows her personality very well and calls her out for it which she duly acknowledges.

The first episode belonged to Madiha and Gohar all the way. Their scenes were a breath of fresh air sans melodrama. Both the characters were completely straightforward with each other about their feelings without beating around the bush and I could sense the chemistry in the air. However I know that this is,at the end of the day,a Geo drama and it is bound to become a borefest sooner or later. I just hope it happens later.

I actually had to double check that this was indeed a Geo drama cause I liked it and I never like Geo dramas. Good to see Madiha in a different avatar other than being a bechari. Gohar was also impressive and he even has his real name. Let's see how far this show manages to stay interesting.

Madiha and fq looked good in babajani as father daughter

Wah got to read good reviews of this drama. Will catch this up

I tried to watch yesterday and I found it boring but when i watched it today again, i really found it nice. I have to say Geo dramas have only two weak points that they are dragfests and they can't handle every script but I like Geo dramas, and there's something about them that their first episode is so addictive .

I like Faisal after fitoor so i was excited, and one very good thing is that it's a subtle drama. The family of momin and Ashi are simple middle class. Also momin is not gonna be toxic which sets a good lesson for the society.

Also very happy to see that though madiha is rich and only girl she is not that toxic or evil, she is a stubborn and straightforward person and most importantly doesn't shout (pointing to zunaira in amanat). The characterization of momin, Ashi and their families is very cute though they could have taken some known sisters.

But i m tired of seeing Gohar in these toxic roles and the way reviewers and all appreciate him, he is such a typecast in these roles that I am bored of seeing him. Maybe he shld do another Ismail. Also idk why ashi's father is so toxic but that may serve as a purpose in further episodes.

Looks like finally a hit from Geo after dour, MDKS though it will be dragged but it's biweekly luckily

I didn't find gohar toxic here

He just did a similar role like Mikhail in lapaata

And he doesn't have the crowd pull to b solo lead

And given he has come a long way from digest writer to this present show in terms of looks and craft

I would prefer him than any other x y z playing the male parallel lead

And the best part is ....Madiha and gohar has chemistry as well
