Oh couriered sweets from Grand sweets 😊
Your mom to make some great stuff. I like kaju katli and love coconut barfi. 😊
I had no idea that different types of chakli had different names .... I call everything as murukku 😀.
What is seven cup cake? Never heard of it...
You follow proper traditions yaar, the nalangu and gingelly oil bath. So nice 😊.
At my home its opposite 🙈. We hardly even follow proper time. We make chicken curry during Diwali in the afternoon- that is staple ....and then have a 2-minute Pooja😆. Diwali over. Depending on our mood, we wear our Diwali dress. 😆
When I was a child, I used to get confused as which murukku is called what 😂😂.
Seven cup cake is just another barfi like Mysore pal but has seven cup of ingredients like ghee, milk, coconut, besan, sugar (3 cups) 😂.
Oh ok, my family is an orthodox one. I follow them here too 😊. We have a lot of festivals/special days throughout the year that we follow in addition to the main ones but Diwali is somewhat really special. We make a lot of dishes on Janmashtami too actually. We also make two type of pori urundai (puffed rice balls), groundnut ball and appam on the day of Karthigai as you might know.
We used to keep mehendi too for Diwali. The traditional circle one 😀.
Yup, but usually I make boondi laddo, besan burfi and jaangri , mixture 😆
Wow, I once tried boondi laddoo but wasn’t too happy. Have to try once again. You make jaangri? I tried it last year and came out well. I was missing it here 😂.

Which place are you from Disha? You know Karnataka related things and also Maharashtra related things na from what I have seen 😆.
No worries😃...we have very traditional sweets besides indian sweets😊
This is yomari...made of rice flour and stuffing can be of either khoya or jaggery
This is sel roti
The first one looks similar to modak. Happy to know these dishes 😍.
Why did they have to? I haven’t watched the series but I liked the couple abd I thought it was a good series. They have to spoil everything 🤦♀️😡.
