That is a million dollar question whose answer is simple - We want feel good heroines in iTV so that we think we are better than them and can go around saying, "Unlike XYZ, atleast my husband wont cheat on me or atleast I have a job while she sits and mopes around." If they act, speak and express normally, they have the ability to look better than us because they reflect us.
