What is the importance of Samraat?

Pakhi keeps blabbering, insulting, deamening, lying planning and plotting in front of Samraat who knows her intentions but he also acts as merely a spectator and is always quiet he keeps saying Patralekhaaaaa or Pakhiiiii then what's his importance, his value when he's quiet all the time? Was Samraat brought back to increase viewers for Pakhi so "FRUSTRATING AND IRKING" At least for me.

Exactly, I think they brought him back to give more ss to Pakhi. And not only him but all the chararacters of chavan nivas play dumbcharades for the viewers to understand their feelings. Some show disgusting faces and some show happy enjoying faces . At least we can decode their expressions but main antogonist is irreparable.In a joint family however differences may be between them but when it comes to children knowing one woman's intentions that she wants to play with two sons of the house how can the elders stay so rooted to her, I don't understand. It is so filthy. Moreover degrading the girl who they know is true and righteous and who never harmed them but they always question her upbringing is heinous. And that too after one year too.And more disgusting is the man who married that girl in the name of zimmedari. dhang se zimmedari bhi nahi nibhaya but wants her to understand his love and then our Own Sai madam. Detachment was convincing from the beginning because she was made to feel unimportant, unwanted but jhelofy and sunaofy their tantrums and taanas because she has no one but now the realization of love towards them is unconvincing and unreal.The main reason being the writers of this show are disgusting .

Reason for Pakhi to continue staying in CN.

Her parents would have at some point dragged her off to start living her own life instead of being stuck in limbo.

Samrat was brought it at a point where Pakhi lost all her hopes on separating Virat and Sai (mahabaleshwar trip).

When Samrat returned, everyone was careful around him, now that everything is fine between Jeeva Shiva, no one cares much. Samrat by giving Pakhi a chance has dug his own grave unknowingly. He doesn't know she is one mental case and thought she will really move on. But she is only lusting on Virat and even openly asking Samrat why Virat is rejecting her.

I wonder if he tells everyone the truth, would family even believe him. They will only blame him further, question his own narrow thoughts and sympathize with Patralekha. He can see how much control she has on kaku. I can understand his silence in front of family now.

Just to keep Didi in check...a bit, till Sai and Virat confess and have some bliss in married life...since it helps Sai come out of her mental block....Then she can become Virat's priority when Samrat dies..

He has so much potential but they dont use him well. They dont give him enough SS or material to sink his teeth in. He barely gets any SS. Thats why he still looks a little rusty n out of place in some scenes. I liked his scenes with Sai n the one time he showed pp her place by asking her the right questions in front of all. But apart from few scenes half the time its his BD on set and recently they butchered him also in the process of trying to maybe get sympathy for virat/pp. It makes no sense for Sam to know pp's intentions and still be quiet, not say/do much. Occasionally he gets a few good dialogues but it all boils down to nought. After one or two good scenes, he goes quiet with no SS or impactful dialogues for several episodes.

I find his character very unconvincing. Men are naturally jealous people, so the fact that his wife is openly prancing around her ex lover and he just stands there like a dumb fool makes zero sense to me. He feels nothing? No anger or hate? Unless because he has no feelings for Pp, so her behaviour has little effect on him?

My point is if he has no purpose then get rid of him. As things stand he adds no value to story.

I like yogi.. He has an awesome screen presence due to his personality.. He is not the lead but perfect material to play paralead and his character has so much potential..if he is given good dialogues he has the ability to take the floor.. He can simply rule..

Off let I don't understand why is he even Here and I didn't see any significant role in the story line.. He clearly can see through Pakhi's intentions but still doesn't make the attempt to divorce her and most importantly he hardly shuts her from spewing venom...🤢

From couple of days he has no word in whatever drama that is going on!! He shut up Pakhi well the other day and reminded her of the status. But yesterday he should have been more open in shutting her up. Nobody else can. She has become so openly shameless.
