Here evn though Virat looks too much in love , I am yet to see that deep passion, that Rono had...Their dialogues were really good. Rono did say that they wasted one year and he wont anymore, when thy get close to each other..I dont see Virat and Sai having those conversations, insinuating the physical aspect of husband wife relationship in this show...they will only go on and on with Waaris chaiye.. BS, to denote the relationship. KD did not have this crap.

We might get that attraction/ passion after confession. They many times showed how virat was desperate to have normal married life with sai. Even now virat sai has more intimate scenes than emon rono. Virat couldn't stop himself from trying to kiss sai, same way sai couldn't resist his advances. He gave a peck to sai on her cheek on their anniversary day when she was sleeping. He was about to confess her by kissing her in the scene where pakhi interrupts him. They did tried to show virat's uncontrollable emotions that's why he tried to kiss her in public place too. When virat gained confident in the scene where sindoor fell on sai,the next moment he lifts her with smile face without even asking her permission. During friendship phase when virat hugs sai with happiness because of her plan, sai first time feels the hug romantically parallel to virat's similar emotions in the scene where sai hugs him when he tells her about his mission. I don't think rono emon ever had such scenes before confession, When sai tells how can they be romantic as they are friends, virat recalls their intimate moment & talks about it which made him being flirty with sai again. During anniversary celebrations too we can see them getting lost in each other. They did had many attraction scenes like this which shows their inner feelings but we feel there's isn't anything like that because we are served with more nok jokes of them. And they behave like nothing happened especially sai.

In rono emon case, rono hardly made advances before confession, 2-3 times he tried to get close to her by scaring her with ghost stories, same way emon tried to get close to him. There are some accidental cozy scenes too but not more than sairat one's.

Virat's romantic advances towards sai >>>>>>>>>>>> rono advances towards emon

Before confession, after confession we have to see.

I understood the depth of the characters and story quite well..

There are lots of difference between the original and Ghum.. Here some sequence are made so cringy where as in kd was more impact full..

SaiRat>>>>>>>> Rono Emon..

I didn't understand why Emon fell for such man.. Emon was more sultry and wild.. In the original Rono questions her character in Sunderpur when Emon comes to enquire about their plans at mid night.. He calls her kalankiny.. He was thoroughly mean to her..

Emon tried to act immature but it came out irritating.. Where as Sai is more innocent and wild too.. Virat is more passionate unlike Rono.. ViraKhi had more depth than in Ghum so you kind of feel sorry for RK..

Sai is so much different from other ITV heroin.. She is more human and mostly a lost confused teen.. That's the catch in Ghum.. I must appreciate vanker for this.. Leena only tried to bring that human psychology that's all.. And the story was very very real.. No matter how independent girls are these days still they stuck with a misogynistic society.. They are forced to put up with all these..

GC days are much better than the original..We kind of can tell these couple are subconsciously in love..

Agree that deeper conversation is completely missing in SaiRat.. I don't know whether it's done purposely or it's the poor writing 😕Had expection in friendship track but I am disappointed big time 👎🏼..

Sai's whole world revolves around Aaba unlike Emon.. You see it made more sense to me because she hardly got the chance to meet people outside GC.. Also she was the only child raised by a single parent.. So she kind of have been living in her Aabas bubble all her life..

Yes GC was much better in ghum.. the sundar our scenes look like a natak ..in KD the husband wife fights and make up are good and passionate ..I hope our Sai Rat are upto if .. and show it well ..

In many scenes it is implied later on that they have a rocking conjugal life .. .. when Rono tells emon you were craving for my touch .. hanglaMi koro na .. but when I hold you .. you say chhado chhado
Every time they make up .. it’s interesting

Yes you get it .. In KD the sexual longing is more palpable .. they loved to fight abd then make up nicely

Have not seen those parts though even if I did stoic rono made me FF 😆..

Agree SaiRat hardly has any sexual tension between them.. It happens when Virat attempts to get intimate.. I was expecting during this friendship phase Sai will start feel the rush like Virat.. But all the time they are busy doing ha ha hi hi..

Most importantly like Asmi pointed out when virat was setting her clothes there were no sanitary napkins found in the bag.. That scene could have been poignant between the couple to reduce the distance.. Don't understand why writers miss out such details..now a days itv this things are openly discussed.. 😕

Also in kd it was unbelievable to fall for some one like rono but still emon fall for him. Who just demeans her everytime and questions her character all the time.

No he is shown as dour man .. but he loves his wife .. maybe because she is his wife .. but it is there .. and he has huge expectations that she should understand him .. without him telling her anything.. he feels she is foolish and naive ..

do you understand Bengali … the conversations between them makes it quite clear .. they are stuck with each other .. they love to poke each other .. so even if they say bad things .. they are sparking each other .. this should be copied word by word in Hindi .. so it was obvious why she fell in love with Rono .. he made her feel agitated and alive ..

It is very mills and boon type of story ..

In KD, after the whole Samrat revelation part, there was a certain degree of distance maintained by the people who loved her. Samrat again in KD was not abusive, only Rono was...so showing him here, seems like and added touch.

I guess waha Roopkotha was capable of single-handedly manipulating the family unlike Patralekha who needs support
