Arre... Are you forgetting Pallavi kitna bash hui thi in Mandar track. Raghav ka criticism is really nothing in comparison. And few aren't even watching the episodes properly before passing judgement.
Abhi if we show a mirror ki P made the same mistakes like R but less severe toh hum galat hai, hum solo stans hai and not Raghvi stans. Just because we bring Mandar track references doesn't mean we are saying Pallavi was wrong but we are saying Raghav isn't at fault too. If she was given a pass, he should be given a leeway too.
People will call Pallavi forgiving Raghav as losing self-respect.
I was fighting throughout Mandar track defending Pallavi. I will also fight for Raghav (maybe if I'm in mood) because he's not wrong. He made mistakes and he will be repenting badly for forgiveness. Everyone who defended Raghav asked for a redemption track. No one is saying he's needs to be taken back without any penance. Didn't he repent for the character assassination. The forgiveness wasn't given thali pe sajake to him. This time also he will grovel.
There is no character butchering that happened in this track. Everyone is on point and that makes the show interesting. Ofcourse the fact that there's too much tadka and esha can't act is difficult.
I used to avoid SM during Mandar track. Pallavi didn't deserve that character butchering and then the bashing she got in that track. I love Pallavi and Raghav both, and I love them with all their strengths and flaws, so seeing them getting so much hate always make me upset. Right now, I try to defend them whenever I can but mostly ignore all the negativity because I'm trying to enjoy whatever is remaining of the show.
@u: I think people often misunderstand/misinterpret women empowerment and feminism as not being considerate/forgiving of anything the male counterpart does. So many of us want Raghav to suffer, to grovel, to beg and do everything in his capacity to repent and redeem himself because it needs to happen. If Pallavi forgives him afterwards and RaghVi are able to move past this, that will only go on to show that relationships are complicated, imperfect and more than just B&W concepts you can judge using some idealistic standard that doesn't really work in the real world.
I've learned to appreciate ACP Laxmi's acting after Esha's entrance😆 You know Ren, I think if she were given a positive role in this track, she could've done a decent job. Getting emotional/vamp reactions right takes some practice and finesse and new actors often have a difficult time pulling it off convincingly.
