So unfair tv industry

This is so unfair for some shows like mhrw which don’t get one year also to run show while shows like yrkkh, tarak mehta ka ulta chasma are running for years and years.

I started watching that and I'm quite liking the plot so far. It's different.

And the husband-wife equation is beautiful to watch.

I do not know about Tarak but YRKKH ran because it had a cult following. Hina Khan remained with Shivin for some time and they continued the legacy but for S3 DKP brought Harshad and two brand new faces which itself is kind of abrupt and the product is a Sasta copy of many shows mixed together. The writing, editing and direction is not YRKKH standards. On this forum itself, some fans were comparing MHRW with YRKKH but after watching 4 episodes, I can very well say that MHRW is a master piece.

The panic attacks are clearly lifted from MHRW and the director could not even guide the fl properly, HC's expressions were good but I think he improvised the whole shot.

We cannot predict YRKKH s fate, everyone wants that show to shutdown.

Okay so I do believe a lot of these long running shows should get off air and give space to new shows. But then amongst them, YRKKH and TMKOC arent the top ones.

YRKKH has worked so well for years for many reasons. First the show has dual target audience. They know how to get to diff set of audiences to watch their show. One is the family audience who likes the huge joint family and their way of dealing wid conflicts. Second is the young audience which is usually targetted by getting a good looking couple wid some impeccable chemistry. So der you hv a big audience. Secondly the show comes at a prime time. Thirdly their maker know how to keep new tracks coming ( Even though its repetitive) and not drag tracks for too long. Also tracks arent as toxic .

I am not at all a fan but over the years I hv understood why the show works.

Abt TMKOC its a family comedy. It has a very different audience. Audience who like watching light hearted shows wid zero drama . Something dt relieves their stress. So its highly popular. I dont like it but its not a bad show to stay on air.

See its all in the making , how the story is handled , how the so called "tadka" is handled so that audience comes back for more servings and not leaving them wid a bitter taste . Dts wht MHRW makers dont hv the knack for.

Sorry but why would they copy panic attack ??

Panic attack is a real thing. Exists since a very long time and lots of people in real life have it. Its not something new created by MHRW makers.

I agree Pranali wasnt good at the scene though. But she is new. Needs to work harder.

You know I was watching a rajshri ph show which telecasted some years ago. A ph which is infamous for showing so much sanskaar on social media have done the angst romance track much better than sickand who has worked with tv queen ekta kapoor. So you can imagine how bad things are.

The show had a same scene like that of mandar going on terrace and pallvi coming and saving him and that forceful hug of mandar. The only difference in rajshri show was that there was no hug and female lead was given much clear dialogues that she wants to save him but only as good friend. In this show , the male lead actually went from a naive person to shrewd human being who actually understands how the real world works and there was so much passion shown in the couple relationship.

Its all in the writing I tell you. Writers need to be good . They need to keep the character's basic traits intact while executing any track. Every track can be well received if writers are sensible and smart.

Rajshri I will say hv come a long way. They are a good production house and know how to tell a story to an audience. Now they are learning to modernize . Good on them.
