Goenkas are being their usual crazy self. They just met Abhimanyu and decided he is a good match for Akshu. Dadi and her impatience.

That whole Sirat track was just so useless. If they were planning leap, they could have dragged Kaira for a few more months with missing Naira and Karthik searching for her. Or they could have ended it with Sirat marriage to Ranveer and Karthik being a single dad. Instead they made Karthik fall for 20 something look alike of his wife (& soulmate, as per him) and produce a child with her. 🤢 What a way to butcher a character and good pair.

If they wanted to show arohi akshu. Then makers could have made arohi sirat ranveer daughter. Kill both of them. Then naira karthik adopting and goyenka accepting. after that same story as they r showing now.

Or they could have got Kaira's first daughter and showed some sibling conflict. Instead they ruined Kaira and now we have to tolerate that annoying Aarohi.

Oh wow that would have actually been nice. Even if they still went along with their original plan of killing naira, and bringing her lookalike after naira death, when they noticed ratings were not that great maybe even after ranveer death, they could have shown the 6 month leap after sirat running away due to being accused of ranveer's murder, and when karthik finds her after the 6 month leap he find out she is about 7-8 months pregnant with ranveer's child and karthik decides to help her clear her name for the sake of the child, but ranveer's evil and delusional father accuses sirat of being pregnant with karthik's child and even tries to kill both sirat and her unborn child knowing that karthik-sirat are still trying to prove sirat innocent.

Ranveer's dad gets caught trying to kill sirat by police, sirat goes into labor due to the attack on her. Whilst she's in labour karthik makes ranveer's dad realise that the child is in fact ranveer's and that he not only unintentionally killed his own son whilst trying to kill sirat, but he also tried to kill his unborn grandchild in attempt to kill sirat again. Ranveer's dad regrets and confesses all his crimes. Sirat cleared of murder accusation whilst on other hand she is in middle of a complicated delivery. Gives birth to healthy baby girl but sirat dies due to delivery complications. Karthik adopts her daughter and goenka's accept. The 8 year leap happens where sheela brainwashes the child aarohi to convince her that karthik and goenka's are responsible for her mother's death and arohi secretly harbors hate for goenka's and grows up to become evil under sheela's secret influence. Karthik does not die but instead post leap he is recast with an older actor to play him.

This way the whole mess of naira being replaced in karthik's life with her lookalike and karthik having a child with naira's lookalike would have never happened.
