I agree to many aspects. But if Sai were to truly pull her real personality on this, n tell aai to divorce n leave, Ashwini wouldn't do that either. So Sai is shaking up the status quo. Because she's seen the hope aai/virat have out of this celebration. So i think in Sais head its that- if this anniversary can trigger nostalgia, good memories n fresh start- good. If not, then atleast some questions have been raised n Virat is more vocal in supporting Ashwini so people will think twice about insulting her knowing the ghar ka chiraag wont be mute anymore.

Ideally i would have definitely preferred that they didnt brush away the bitterness n abuse of 30 years n had shown Ashwini separate, finish her education, maybe start her own lil business of papad/achaar or something like that, be independent n Sai, Sairat being there to suppprt all that.

But yahaan par Aai/Virat do want a reconciliation. Aai has said she doubts if anything will change and is upset that ninad is so bitter. But she also told Sai of the love they had, what things were like. Recalled old fond memories. If aai had said, i have had enough, i wish I could leave, I feel like Sai would have supported that.

But here because aai herself actually wants a new start with the same man, she is kinda pushing for it.

But yes, theres no need for them- both Sai n Virat to be so pushy about all this large scale taam jhaam at this juncture n doing skits n what not. It would make more sense to have a small private get together given that the issue is still so sensitive n ninad is melting very slowly that too more about virats guilt, virats sadness n feelings regarding his relationship with Ashwini....

I agree that Ashwini wouldn’t agree and there is a possibility that she can get upset with Sai to have even suggested it.

@bold I did think about it but after what Ninad spoke yesterday, after how Ashwini was upset today expressing that nothing is going to help change Ninad or their relationship, Sai didn’t even give it a thought. What bothered me was that she was asking if Ashwini was upset. Obviously she would be. If Sai had thought that Ashwini was also hopeful when they brought out the topic of anniversary celebration, she also heard what Ninad spoke and what he thinks about both Ashwini and their marriage. Sai out of all should know how it feels like to celebrate when there is no love between the two.

True, Ashwini did speak about her past and the love that they had. But I still feel that Sai should have at least asked Ashwini today if she would be okay for them to celebrate their anniversary and they would call it off if all this celebration is hurting her but Sai instead asked her to be a part of it for Virat’s happiness. What matters the most is what Ashwini wants in all this and Sai should know how hurtful it must be for Ashwini when she herself had been in that position. What Sai shared with Virat was nothing compared to what Ashwini has had with Ninad and that too for all these years. Ashwini has given so much for her marriage and this house and yet she is not even treated as a human by Ninad, forget love.

I so badly want a 🤦‍♀️ reaction in IF 😂. Have always wanted it and very much needed for Ghum 😂.

They leave a lot of festivals but are always into meaningless parties.

Yes I agree … Sai was hypocritical.. when she’s forcing ashwini n ninad to celebrate anniversary..

The whole incident should have brought retrospection for virat ..

Ideally he should have asked ninad to respect his mom .. as his son’s mom .. if not his wife .. used the same time to ask others .. Sonali , patralekha , Kaku that I know .. you have no regard for her .. but she’s my mother .. it will be difficult for me to live in this house .. if you all continue to treat her like this ..

Sai could have encouraged ashwini to do something for her own herself .. basically borrow some points from Anupama..do some cooking classes online ..make cooking videos on YouTube.. which become a hit .. and she starts getting popular ..

these are not something out of the ordinary.. most Indian mommies are thinking in those lines ..

also in a traditional way ..there is no reason for virat to behave like the son of the house and be loyal to Kaku , Sonali who already have their own kids .. and let his own mom be independent..

I guess it'd be different if there was no child, no virat involved. I mentioned this yesterday in my post that while I understand virats questions on his wajood, his guilt but ashwini was sidelined and ignored.

This whole track for everyone including Sai n obviously for virat himself is more about virat feeling less guilty, Virat getting some happinesss seeing his normal happy family with his parents being civil/happy/in love

The focus has shifted from aai to virat. Instead of virat being the one to ask the questions n force everyone to introspect and apologize, it has become about virats pain, virats wishes, virats guilt. Only virat.

While a lot of that is definitely needed, the focus needed to be on Ashwinis pain, how she feels.

I feel like everyone thinks that parents are obliged to bend to every whim of the kids. Bacchon ke khushi ke liye.

So Sai is also expecting aai to agree for the sake of her child.

Its not fair that nobody cares about how Ashwini feels.

Also just like aai loves Sai n Virat but is definitely partial to her son and prioritizes him and makes him the focus of everything, Sai does the same. She loves both aai n virat but her actual priority is also virat. She wanted to leave because she thought virat would want that, she came back when emotionally blackmailed about virat, she fixes things in family like devi, NiNi because she thinks this is what virat wants. She organized devkit lunch for virats guilt to lessen. She didnt want the birthday party but she agreed because virat told her. But you see how really even without acknowledging her feelings for virat, the fulcrum of all her decisions is about what she feels Virat wants.

True, I too felt that. It is sad in a way. Also, her character is to stand for what is right and at the moment, she is probably looking at Virat’s pain and happiness overlooking Ashwini’s pain. Can’t exactly say overlooking but I think that she is getting carried away with all this. It is disappointing especially when she is not giving it a thought that she was in a similar position just recently. I hope this makes her think about their anniversary celebration and what happened at Mahabaleshwar.

No this is not at all true. If she does things as per virat wishes then she wouldn't have fought for shivani, wouldn't have fought against him for devkit marriage. It's like reducing all efforts of sai by linking with a man name. She made a plan to make ninad realise how he behaves with aai so that his behaviour towards aswini changes. She wants aswini to participate in anniversary so that ninad accepts her as per their plan. Which will eventually give what aai longed from many years. Sai loves aai more than anyone in that house.

@bold I was actually thinking if this could be the case. Hope it is, otherwise all this wouldn’t make sense.

Oh I dont mean that she doesn't have her own mind when she does these things or negating her spirit to achieve what she has set her mind to but if there is a chance to do something for virat she will do it despite how hurt/upset/annoyed she may be at him. She is also getting conditioned....

Her attachment to people in CN is a result of her association to virat.

She does take a stand for her own self too more than anyone else in this show but the thing that makes her cave is always virat.

Its not necessarily a bad thing. People do bend in love. Here she is not even fully aware of it and yeh haal hai....

For me the true Sai comes out when not in Cn, like the way she behaved for the stranger child to save him from falling in a ditch.
