Gone too soon 😢😢 Puneeth Rajkumar passes away due to a heart attack

Sandwalwood mega star Puneeth Rajkumar, who had amassed an amazing career has passed away due to a heart attack. News of his death surfaced on social media after there were reports that the actor was rushed to a hospital after he suffered a heart attack.

As per reports, Rajkumar, who is affectionately called Appu,  was rushed to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru following his ill health. Sources close to the family say that he is no more.

Puneeth, the youngest son of Kannada matinee idol, Dr Rajkumar was last seen in the movie Yuvarathnaa which was a massive hit. The movie released in several languages.

Meanwhile, security around Puneeth Rajkumar's house has been beefed up following his death, while there is heavy setting around Vikram hospital too where he is said to be treated.

As soon as news of his illness broke, all the industry stalwarts including Gurudutt, Ravichandran thronged the hospital to pay him a visit. Karnataka Chief Minister Bommai too is expected  to visit the hospital soon.

Puneeth's brother Shivarajkumar too rushed  to the hospital soon as news spread.

Bengaluru hospital issues official statement

Kannada film star Puneeth Rajkumar breathed his last at 2:30 PM on October 29, 2021, according to Bengaluru’s Vikram hospital, where he was admitted after suffering cardiac arrest. “Mr. Puneet Rajkumar, aged 46 years was brought to Vikram Hospital on 29/10/21 with a diagnosis of heart attack with ECG done by a family doctor. At the time of arrival to the emergency, the patient was nonresponsive and was in cardiac asystole. Hence, immediate advanced cardiac life support measures were initiated for resuscitation. In spite of prolonged advanced and aggressive measures, the patient continued to be non-responsive and asystolic. The panel of medical experts extended all efforts to save him. He was declared at 2.30 pm on 29.10.2021,” read a statement from the hospital.

This came as such a shock💔🥺 Still can't believe he is no more😭 Life is so unpredictable. He seemed alright just yesterday and today he is no more

He was a good actor and more than that a good human being...

I have watched a few of his movies and he was good in it. 

He did seem to be a very kind man. Seems to have done a lot of good work. 

It's just so shocking he passed away that too at such a young age
