Mahira ka new show Hum kahan se sacche the is one of the best shows rn in terms of performances. Waiting for it to pick up. I also love Usman so it's easy to watch.

BALH2 is good rn. I’ve seen clips. But I don’t trust EK at all. She’ll mess it up real bad real soon. And it’s not like how SS does. I’ve watched too many of hers to trust her. The first BALH was good. Then messed up bad. So her shows are to watch only till it’s good & while it lasts. You can’t do any analysis and all because usually depth and consistency is not there like MHRW

I remember an interview of some writer on why they show cousin relationships.

Firstly it's allowed in Islam. Secondly dating is looked down upon in Pakistan so the only way they can show romance or relationship is between cousins. I don't mind it honestly because it makes sense also from religious and cultural stand point.

Yeah I'm okay with it too. I get Z's point because it's uncommon for Bengali Muslims (similar to Muslims in the West) so it can feel a little strange. I personally don't mind it since I have seen it happening irl and I get why Pak dramas promote that.

My only issue is perhaps not ever being able to gush over a romantic dance number or SR unlike ITV but I do love their nuances.
