Anyway I dont really understand whats so difficult about using speech marks or why use this kind of style. Whats the benefit for the reader? And why would someone wanna get used to it?

Bookclub or not we can always post here about our reads and maybe at any point if people join in, we can always restart it. There is always the option of having a book pick every two months as well in the future.

My initial challange was set for 10 books this year, later increased to 15. I've read 39 books this far. It's not a lot but its the best reading year I've ever had. Although I've only read shorter books, I've read many (by my standard) and also come across some good ones.

I’ve read 45 or so, but that also includes audiobooks. My goal for the last couple of years has been 52 books. Last year I read over 60 books but for next year I’m going to bring down my goal so I can read chunkers without focusing on meeting my target or not.

I don't know but I noticed this in another book I tried reading this week. A classic - The Book Thief.

I find them terribly boring, is all. I'd rather read academic books that makes me think.
