Hollywood celebs will obviously wear symbols which represent their cultural and national identity. What stops bolly celebs from wearing OM or Swastika and flaunt their own as proud indians? Forget swastika which might seem hindu, OM is universally accepted symbol and associated with spirituality but havent seen likes of kapoors and akshaykumar who btw do keep crucifix symbols even inside their houses wear it. Why are khans who are epitom of secularism also shying away from doing the same?? Shouldnt they be proud of their own cultural identity like hollywood celeb are?
@bold...exactly why i advised ananya to go for christian sounding name. Why is only symbol considered cool and not the name or religion itself? Why not flaunt it all? She should be able to practice her faith freely and come out as proud christian... it is still not illegal to covert to christianity in india.
Heh? Wasn't it just recently that SRK got trolled for celebrating Ganesh chathurthi?😆 AFAIK, Salman also celebrates. Saif, too.
Dude, why are you finding trouble where there isn't any?
And you don't even know Ananya is Christian. You're making it up because of the crucifix which really has become a fashion statement across the globe.
The ones who are don't seem to be hiding it - John Abraham, Asin, Ileana, Johnny Lever, Genelia. I don't know if there are others.
Really, in a secular country, if you feel the need to hide your faith, then it's not really faith.

We were talking about wearing of cultural identity on sleeves. Wishes toh sabhi ek doosre ko karte hi hai festival pe. It isntt equal to accepting one's own cultural identity😆
As they say, if you look like a duck, swim like a duck or quack like a duck, then probability is that you are a duck. This is for ananya.😆
Uh, no. Not wishes. IIRC, SRK and Saif both had Ganesh idols in the house.😆 And you're still trying to start trouble where there isn't any. You have no clue of Ananya's religion and simply want to have your weekend jollies trolling about it.😆

Mind you, these weren't even them donning cultural symbols like celebs do with crucifix. They were actually participating in the religious ritual.

They have to do certain things being public figures. PR strategy, u see😆
But anyways, i am rooting for ananya to change her last name as per the religion she is following just for the reasons i listed in my opening post. I dont know why you are looking for troubles in my post. I am only reaponding with logic to your illogical posts😆
😆 Trolling failed. So you're spinning, trying to act as though there was anything other than silliness in what you said.
Okeydokey, continue. I, unfortunately, have no more time. Hopefully, someone else will bite.
Ananya jesus pandey. 😆 The amusing things I get to read on this forum is at an all time high.
There's a difference between the name you're born into and the faith you choose to follow later on in life if you choose to depart from your parents' faith. But you can't conclude that about anyone based on an odd cross sign you see in their room in some random clip. You get to buy those cross signs in the streets as pendants and all kinds of accessories too and plenty of people are see buying them for personal use, without converting to Christianity. Shocker much? 😆

Hollywood is anything but Christian 😆. And the crucifix isn't exactly a symbol of the national identity of Americans. Om is not a 'universally' accepted symbol. Buncha hipsters eating praying and loving doesn't make Om universal. It's still very much a Hindu thing. A dumb young girl having a crucifix at home doesn't mean she's endorsing Christianity because she's not 'proud' of her culture. You are reading too much into it. I used to wear rings with skulls on them when I was a teen. . On all five fingers. It doesn't mean I was a psychopath.
