Yes, I too felt that instead of spending a few minutes with his wife he was asking about Sai. I guess this is also a reason for Karishma's resentment towards Sai.

Yup. It was disrespectful. He should have at least asked her how she's and then ask for Sai. I don't like sometimes how Mohit behaves with Karishma. He never took a stand for her, infact he never took a stand for himself. Tbh, in Karishma disliking, Mohit has also contribution.
