He has not been shown in the last boat promo and even in the new promo he is nowhere to be found. The makers are touting it as the story of two sisters so that means has he already become a side secondary character?

What about Namik Paul?
I'm starting to think NP casting was a rumour. I doubt they are gonna cast a big actor for kairav role now that they have cast a big popular actor as male lead opposite akshu-arohi, because if they cast a big actor for kairav role after casting harshad as new character for male lead, then these writers will have to try and please both harshad and the popular actor who would be cast as kairav by ensuring they both get equal screentime. That's why now I have dropped all hopes that they aren't going to repeat the same mistake they did with naksh on kairav and won't sideline him, because the post-leap promotions are showing already that kairav is sidelined and that he won't even fit into the main plot of the show as the main plot will be centred around his sister's only. 🥱 So it's pretty much predictable now that kairav will get the same fate as naksh. 🤢

True I think so too. Why Harshad chose this show is best known to him but I hope Namik didn't agree to play a side character or is not gullible enough to think that he will have a meaty role as going by the promos and show's history, he would be reduced to the girls' caretaker sooner or later

Harshad has definitely been offered a big pay package to get on board. SP and Director's Kut can definitely afford to pay their lead actor's big and they always have. Problem is big actor's don't guarantee ratings. This show has ran on relatively unknown actors as leads and still getting such good ratings that it pulls off running for 10+ years on air. But because this is an established show that always gets pretty good ratings and goes on for years, it ensures harshad that there won't be as much pressure or stress of thinking whether a show he is doing will get good ratings, because with yeh rishta that's already guaranteed.
There goes any worthwhile role for Kairav

True but I'm still disappointed at his decision. I don't envision in the YRHKKH world

Good Namik refused Kairav's role. HC isn't very expensive btw. As per some BP fans his last take home was 85k per episode and Jennifer charged double. He wants a substantial role and then comes the salary part.
However I do not know how much he is paid for YRKKH. As of now SP is making hay when the sun shines with new comers.
I wanted a Kairav centric story.
