I actually find it annoying when the same pairs keep being put together. As much as I love Yumna and Ahmed, I don't want it to get to a point where they become overused. Because I feel that about Ahad and Sajal, every time I see them on screen now I get so irritated.

Had been really over used

But Ahmed yumna had hardly been used at all

I took a 4 yr break kinda in between for wedding and a kid

I just watched guzaarish and yeh raha dil

Yet I can't wait for yumna entry in parizaad

Whereas these dramas actually aired in 16 and 17 and Ahna fans had been literally waiting for 4 years to be cast together......geez....hats off to the patience....in these 4 years I got married and raised a kid who is 3+ now

They cud have been cast in tajdeed e wafa which bombed as there was no chemistry with AAA and Ainy jaffrey

They cud have been cast in any other show from 2018 to 2020

But ahm d focused on films laal kabootar and parchi and yumna got type casted in bechari roles except Pyaar ke sadqay which j m yet to watch

I m so happy Ahmed is back doing dramas

Another FANTASTIC EPISODE

Even I am excited for Ahna. Not a Ahna fan fan but I like them onscreen❤️ and if they can keep the essence of the novel then I don't think there was any other couple who could have done it better.

Also, I disagree that Yumna has been typecasted in the same bechari kind of roles. I think she has done an array of different roles. Hajra was not a lost cause at all. She was strong. Aiman from dil kya karay was not a victim. Mushk was a different one too. And Sumbal/Allah rakhi was dramatically different from others. She will be a cadet in Sinf-e-Aahan. Azka from the teasers of Ishq-e-laa looks quite a stubborn and strong headed one. And of course Annie is blind and different. Although now I do want it see her in something light. May be a romcom.

Now, every character onscreen, especially the female ones, are shown vulnerable in the drama industry. Without vulnerability, there is no story to tell. It is the writers that are to be blamed and not actors. Almost every actress is doing the same kind of roles because there is a lack of variety. Better narrations have to be written.
