Soft Spot or Guilty Conscience??

Many feel Virat let's Paakhi get away with a lot of things because he seems to have a soft spot for her or maybe residual feelings. But could it be possible that the leniency could be due to the fact that he feels guilty for breaking his promise to her? Virat is an extremely emotional person and Paakhi never leaves a chance to guilt trip him. Moreover, now that Samrat has disclosed his reasons for disappearance....he may feel guilty for ruining Paakhi and Samrat's married life.

Maybe it's the optimist & romantic in me but I feel Virat feels extremely guilty towards Paakhi and Samrat. The reason he did not disclose Cafe conversation is that he wants to give them a chance at their marriage and this time he does not want to be the one to cause any problems. If they are able to build a relationship between them then who is he ruin their chances.

He could have separately mentioned it to Sai....but we all know Sai..... would she really accept that 'though Paakhi loves Virat he does not love her' at face value? Hence Virat did not disclose anything to her. Not to mention he was still mad at her for the anniversary fiasco.

Now coming to Sai.....what Virat did (locking her up..... taunting her by ganging up with Paakhi) was very wrong. But just coz he teamed up with Paakhi does not mean he has a soft corner for her.....it just means that his anger towards Sai (her harsh words on Anniversary) takes precedence over his annoyance at Paakhi. I am not saying what he did is right.....his actions were completely wrong.....horrid even. But he hasn't forgiven Paakhi's deeds or words. Just that for him there were more important things to focus on like.....'Getting Mad At Sai'.

But now after her accident....his Worry for Sai trumps over everything else ......even his anger for her.

These are my two cents......I have no intention of offending anyone or supporting domestic violence....I just think sometimes we tend to be too harsh in our judgement that we ignore the good in people.

Virat is definitely flawed....but he doesn't have a Malicious intent.

I am not white washing him....rather i am accepting that he is Grey and am not trying to turn him Black.

We all have flaws....some so horrible that barring few closed ones no other person is privy to it. We don't get to pick and choose the flaws in people. Rather for a better and peaceful life you accept people with their flaws and help them be a better version of themselves.

Cheers!

Yeah I see virat had guilt for the longest time! Because his brother left after the marriage. May be if he hadn’t forced her to marry then she would have had a different reality! But he doesn’t know the intentions behind her decision to marry samrat. If he had known earlier he would not have had that guilt also!

May be soft corner was also there initially not because of his earlier feelings but generally as a girl that he liked for her whatever characteristics he had seen in her in that limited time!

but his going away from her, even at guilt level is well Established in the story. Till samrat came back, he was only treating her as a family member. Nothing more! In private he has shown his respect towards her falling down clearly…however his biggest problem is his indirect actions of letting her speak between sai and him is doing more damage than he could comprehend. Him ignoring her overtures when he is neck deep in His marital owes is causing sai to think otherwise 😞

The status now, i perceive is that he loathes her and bears her only for samrats sake! He is playing along because samrat gave her a chance and he is being just his younger brother in supporting this critical decision.

Virat is also trying to keep peace because if the woman decides to do her verbal diarrhoea, his relationship might be in a jeopardy. Right now it is shaky but there is still hope. Probably a faint one. I don't think he has soft corner for Patralekha.

Wish Virat knew why Samrat is bearing the vicious and vile women, it's for him and Sai 😔

No matter how ‘real’, ‘grey’ or guilt-ridden or emotional one may be, an adult has no right & no business confining another adult, or denying basic amenities or endangering by throwing out of the house at night. All amount to abuse (definitely physical, and by conjecture mental) and denial of legitimate rights. That is black, not grey.

Pls let us not even begin to explain those aspects of Virat’s behaviour or tolerate them due to the other nicer aspects.

I agree totally its his guilty conscience that prevents him from saying anything to Pakhi.
