Shamita' gets flak for being favoured, given undue advantage, not being taken to task when she is wrong...all this has a cumulative effect and public is not blind. They understand the dynamics. This undue support from BB was the reason why she was not even in top 2 in OTT and this time too her chances are slim. It's sad people hate on someone, single someone out or judge someone just because they come from a certain family to which they have no control over.

I haven’t used the term nepotism particularly, but really - the fact that this is Shamita’s third stint on this show is only part of it. The crux of it are the advantages, favouring, ignoring of wrongdoings - that scissorgate was utter madness, and she got no flak for it whatsoever, while others (like Umar, ironically) were bashed - and the undue weekend focus to boot. It’s hardly a reach if some people term it nepotism - semantics IMO - particularly given Sallu’s (again undue) references to Shamita’s family and implications of his friendship there.

And I think Umar, if anything, is on the wrong side of both the editing team and Sallu. And no - I’m neither insecure of Shamita nor a misogynist.

Same happened to Neha Bhasin on BBOTT, people slammed her to no ends for doing the same things Pratik also did, but Pratik became one of the most popular & well loved contestant while Neha got all the hate, despite the fact they were both equally involved? 🤬

See the pattern? Guess I'm not wrong. The misogyny exists to this day & also among the 'woke' Indian public.👎🏼

PS. This is NOT an Umar/Pratik hate post, I'm using them as an example to show the blatant hypocrisy of some people.

Shamika has so far played better than Umar and regarding nepotism and favorism. Karan Kundra Jay Bhanushali are more bigger names in the industry so that's negated. Umar too has come due to his brothers fame and influence. So none of the top players can claim to be under dog

But even several other contestant's wrongdoings were ignored like Jay again abusing Pratik, Kundrra pulling WWE on the contestants, Donal being unfairly targeted by everyone.

Kunddra, Teja & Vishal were also heavily promoted, so why people single out Shamita only? The others I mentioned do not get as much as hate as Shamita. If 'nepotism' is the issue, they should bash Umar too for the same. If 'favoring' is the issue, then bash Kundrra, Vishal, Jay, Teja etc too for the same. (not talking about you, but people in general).

But sadly its Shamita who gets the flak for both, others do not.

Who can come how many times it's decided by the makers of the show. Not Shamita herself. . Having said that if she is brought back twice she must have some potential.

OTT format was finalist will join BB 15....so Samita has earned it. Get ur facts cleared before u write agga bagga dagga !!

Where's Umar getting undue advantage of being Asim's brother? In fact he is being taunted for it and the treatment he received on WKV is proof of no favors being done to him

About fans, I have seen Pratik fans and various other fan groups talking about Nepotism in relation to him

My view here is that Umar is a doctor, he has worked hard to give himself and his family a lifestyle, he was the one paying for Asim's expenses during Asim's seasons so he helped his brother, Umar has a goodwill among a fan group and he was approached by Bigg boss for OTT first then Bigg boss 15, He refused OTT and accepted BB15, Even Asim wasn't a big name when he came on BB

Whatever he is doing on the show is on his own, he is not getting support from makers, his scenes are edited, his ideas are attributed to other contestants, his profession is questioned on WKV and he is humiliated by bringing Asim's name in fight because he hasn't given anyone any reason to bash him for his game

Shamita acts like an elitist queen of some sort and gets every help she can get from Bigg boss team and Salman Khan, they make sure she gets footage on WKV even if they have to add Marathi and singing lessons for it. THE RUBINA SHOW which came after weeks of Rubina being a fan favorite is given to her in two weeks, for what?

I am 100% sure Shamita came with a minimum guarantee on both BBOTT and BB15, she was a contestant in some other season of BB, what more can Salman and show do to fit in your definition of Nepotism?

Two different cases, There's clear bias and favoritism in one and absolutely nothing in another
