U know what.. ekta.. gul or any one for that matter bring in some really terrible stuff in the name of tadka.. but they are clear about one thing and that is the magic of the lead pair is never tainted even with all the multiple marriages, third angles, leaps and crappy stuff.. but here the writer single handedly managed to destroy the charm of the couple.

Actually looking at khkt and mhrw, the man doesnt seem to invest too much in the lead couple story or chemistry which is probably why he doesnt mind destroying them.. sed lyf for fans!!!!! Chemistry bhi hai lekin dikhana bhi nahi hai..

I’m with u all the way. I started watching it when i first got hotstar as my friend had it and she said u can watch some plays which are done and i wanted to watch Iss Pyar Ko…. So i usually watch plays that are done, so i know how it ends. I hate leaps, reincarnations and them separating due to something so stupid. Anyway this looked interesting and i watched from when they got married and seemed ro hook me so i went back and watched from beginning. And same as you i watched and rewatched and dissected scenes etc and then got to mandhar track and expected so much more but was disappointed and then keerti marriage and then smuggling (although raghav by Pallavi’s bed was good to see…atleast we finally so them together) alcohol consumption and now this ex situation. None of it is appealing to me but ive fallen in love with the cast especially Sai and Shivangi and trust me that’s all i watch for. I am not a contributor to trps as i live in Canada so doesnt matter whether i watch or not but i do it just for them. Then i recently watched their interviews and they themselves seem not that sure about this track even though they reassure us there is twists and turns and good changes etc but they dont know as they themselves said they get script a day before so they can only speak for the scenes they have shot and not the whole track. So who knows where its going. At thr end of it all…..we have to remember its an itv show and ive seen previous works of the producer and was disappointed so am not holding my breath with this one as it will be butchered like the others.

Mujhe to koi idea nahin thi about ITV being this trashy otherwise I wouldn’t have invested into this show . Not at all . Only other Indian tv show I watched religiously was Iss Pyar ko kya naam doon and there also fans used to bash the makers if they even tried to ruin the couple for any reason . But still the ML was never tainted like Raghav Rao and to be honest my love for ASR is nothing compared to what I felt for RR when I started watching the show during the lockdown period . I felt like finally getting something worth watching after IpK and look where it got me . I feel like a fool now for agreeing to watch this show which btw was a suggestion of my very close friend and she literally kept bugging me till she made me watch it and voila😢😢 I got hooked in the very first Episode . Now the situation is the friend who was a fan and who actually made me an ardent fan of the show actually stopped watching it since mandar track . As for me I still tried my best to stay connected through all those cringy scenes and heartbreaks only to get to this . Now we all know and realize that Mandar track was nothing compared to this one . Now I tried to watch till last Friday but from today it’s a complete stop for me Bcoz I won’t be able to bear Pallavi trying to seduce RR only to get rejected by him . There’s no way I’ll be able to handle that . On top of that All those bts scenes where RR is fighting for his ex and bringing her home to live with his wife making me nauseated . Hence I’ve decided to stick to updates from now onwards . I’m waiting for the expose tho by Sunny or the ACP and counting on Pallavis reactions to al these . Now I have no hope left for the show anymore but let’s see if the makers do something drastic to save the couple and the character of RR even . If they do I’ll be back to watching regularly . As of now only updates for me

She has caught on that he is avoiding her so asks keerti for advice on how to make him come close to her. She dances. He rejects. She leaves crying thinking she is not worthy of him and he likes modern girls. He goes to den and someone calls him letting him know about esha’s whereabouts. I was watching the episode and thinking when I had an epiphanic moment. I mean, I had started watching mhrw for the humour and then got interested in the storyline and the character potrayal and then fell in love with RaghVi.

(Well, might as well confess, Raghav more than Pallavi.. ah haan haa.. wait a minute before judging.. it is not because I am woman.. I mean I have seen men who look twenty times better than Sai.. but mostly because I relate to him more than I understand Pallavi..)

Then as usual I started dissecting everything and analyzing them, characters, scenes, performances, costumes, lighting... bloody everything ( I have a fetish). And I was ecstatic at times, disappointed most of the times 🤣

There is no guarantee that there will be any consistency. So.. no logic, no character development, no growth, no reason, no nothing...

Show will start with a humongous amount of potential and then go downhill from the first hundred episodes routinely brushing sensitive issues under the carpet and ridiculing taboo topics.

The FL is sarvagun sampann.. she will be ferociously protective of her loved ones (will turn a blind eye to their numerous faults and will allow them to stomp all over her) and will be an absolute firecracker in front of the ML (which I love ❤, tbh, no issues there). Special mention for Pallavi because she stood up against the D fam.. once (a huge count for any ITV show.. claps 👏 truly). But the plus point is the FLs retain their characteristics throughout.. (pretty good job!)

The ML will be completely different from the stereotypical ITV ML's with an interesting (must be tragic) back story and deliciously layered. A lot of work is done on the MLs I have observed. Maybe a bias somewhere. Unique attributes, likable qualities and thousand and one faults which will send him into lengthy and rigorous redemption tracks (usually getting enlightened by the FL.. he is the rehabilitation project.. come on! 🤣). Lots of alcohol mostly is used in the equation somewhere.... (drinking is injurious to.... health?). All is well till one day the ML flips.. major character inconsistency and ruins his own relationship. 😑😑😑

The side characters mostly add comic relief. And are used for physical abuse (did you count the no of slaps being thrown around..?) Poor Sai 🤣.. I don't think he must have known his cheeks were going to be used as a percussion instrument.. (I mean RR is a gangster right? He throws punches around.. who would hit him..? Illusion much..?)

Then comes the chemistry 😍😍😍😍❤❤❤

The tracks lose their suspense, the dialogues become cringeworthy, meaningful conversations are avoided at all costs and every other villanous character is forgiven without any reckoning or redemption (except the ML.. cue crying men are hot!) The Ex-es have pretty good character graphs and potrayal and then suddenly they are turned negative (coz.. hey! the lead pair guys... they are meant to be.. how can someone else become the bigger person and step back? Not possible.. nah ah!)

And then suddenly today I remembered hey, Anushkha.. be cool babes... this is a f**king ITV show. That also from a producer who managed to sink my favorite ship so hard that the Titanic had to hide its face in shame 🙄🙄🙄(& that was supposed to be his dream project...)

Then suddenly I am like WHY THE BLOODY HELL AM I SO INVESTED IN THIS SHOW!!!!? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

PS:- No offence please... to anyone(specially not the actors! They are great performers..respect their diligence).. it was a fun post..

Agree with you post completely. @bold Red - this is one thing I really was thinking about before I gave a chance to MHRW. I was so scarred by the way KHKT had been butchered by this producer that I did not even want to watch MHRW since it came from this production house.

Somehow I feel MHRW might have had bigger trps if only someone else had produced it other than Sandip Sickand. Many people I know who hated KHKT did not even want to give MHRW a chance. Seriously some people should stick to producing regional shows or stay in camps which do rinse, repeat things. Serials produce karna - woh kya kahte hain Inn logon ki bas ki baat nahin (Raghav Rao style)
