ITV was progressive between 1980-2000. Don’t remember seeing anybsaas-bahu crap.

My first show was SRK’s Fauji when I was 10 years old. 13 episodes- crisp to the point. Thoroughly enjoyed it back then. Enjoyed all the shows till 2000. DD telecasted shows like Humlog, Buniyaad Yeh jo hai zindagi as repeat telecast in the 90s, watched them as well.

Since the year 2000 downward spiral of ITV started when Ekta entered SP and made a saas-bahu deal😕

Sitara actually was bringing good shows but after this revamp of Sitara with remakes it all went down the drain.

Also EK has got support of Gul Khan to show more toxic relationships.

MTV and V Channel used to bring good shows but V channel got finished and MTV ko faltu reality shows dikhane se fursat nahi hain.

Pandian Stores the OG of this version is such a good show in TN, TRP audience love the show for its positivity, family bonding, each couple’s uniqueness. But the hindi version did not use any if it except the marriage track😕

There r also some good progressive kind of stories in between Prema.. even with sas bahu crap, the dialogues are sensible and cannot be called regressive..but the problem is such stories dnt last more than a year..

Exactly. I too said this yesterday...both are perfect creeps..one asks for date in friend of husband..the other kiss the husband..🤪

Sad truth! Good stories are all on the web.. they don't get TRPs unless they have high drama, third angle or mazloom FL being tortured 🤪
